That is probably a better question for the HBS devs than a modder like me.

My understanding is that HBS is no longer developing new content for the Shadowrun franchise, and that would be a major engine change, so I think it's highly unlikely.

Thanks for the response. I remember being so hyped when I heard that it was getting a reboot and was disappointed with the movement I played less than 15 minutes of the game and never started it again. Are there any plans on changing the click and move in any future versions of this game?

And yes, Shadowrun Returns did away directional movement in favor of click and move.
This was the closest we could do to the original with a completely different game engine.

I was not a fan of this reboot. I do not like the point, click and move part of the game. In the original we were able to go where we wanted and explore everywhere. Unless they have gotten rid of this type of movement I'll look for the original version and hope to find it since in my opinion the reboot has to many restrictions.

@carlosmtnz - The SRR version isn't maintained. The SRR:DF version is maintained and fully playable! (still kicking out some bugs)

And thank you for responding back, i appreciate your work my man, ended up beating the Sega Genesis version again, in 34, and had to be atleast 6 or 7 playing it on the Gen version still remember everything ha kinda of like myself playing Mario Bro 3 and remember all the secrets and glitches from a kid, i will go check it out and download it right now as i head out into the cold foggy wilderness in louisiana to run to the store ha and thanks again man much respect to you bro!

@THAVICIOUS1 - I kept this public for people just like you ;) I still monitor it even if its a dead thread because I want everyone who is interested to be able to play. As @Menteroth already said, there is a newer version if you have Dragonfall. That one is playable end to end (though has some bugs we are still working out).
If you are interested in a genesis remake, I recommend checking out Shadowrun Unlimited. Its a spiritual successor to it.

You should play it free on https://www.ssega.com/shadow-run you have to save on the browser not in game that wont work theres an option somewhere been awhile since I been on there

People seem to feel pretty strongly one way or the other... My exposure was only to the SNES version so I largely stay out of that debate.

@geohound420 - I just realized you posted on the Shadowrun Returns rather than the Dragonfall version. This version is discontinued due to using Dragonfall assets (which had initially be available as DLC on SRR). @geohound420 - Its playable end to end but we are working through a lot of bugs. This week in particular I am re-doing the hired runner logic as it needs some heavy work. We have had multiple people who have played end to end (and given me a lot of useful bug reports)

@down - The most likely cause for that is either that you are missing the Dragonfall DLC or that you are missing the prop pack. (link in description). Also, this is an older version. The newest version (still in alpha) is in the Dragonfall workshop (link below).

Really great project. The only reason why I stop by the game every now and then.

Its been a while since I tested that, it probably could use some clarification. I can't remember how we implemented the use of the strobes.
Are you using the latest version (on DC) or are you on SRR (with expansion)? Its also possible you have an out of date version.

Edit - a hour is definitely longer than it should be though. Try restarting SRR and it might help. Sometimes it doesn't propagate the changes until it restarts.

Howdy. I see you posted here and in the Dragonfall version of the mod.
The prop pack is pretty large, so it might take some time to download. I've found that restarting SRR helps... Your error is most likely because it hasn't finished downloading.
Another thing is to make sure you subscribed to the appropriate version since the DC and SRR versions are not necessarily interchangeable...

Hello. I subscribed to the Geeked props to play this mod, but the UGC is updating for a few hours now and there's still no trace of the geeked props in the list. The SNES mod is in the list though. When I use debug it says : " Cannot resolve content pack 522538f63733611810008015 (needed by 51a9844d633461e82400002a)". Do you know why ?

The "Shadowrun unlimited" mod was originally started as a sega reboot. They ended up going a different way, but you might like it. I haven't tried it myself (yet) though.

I played both nintendo and sega version. I found Sega to be a better version, but either transistioned over to this new game would be very nice. I will look for you with dragonfall.

@Ben - Have you looked at the Shadowrun Unlimited mod? I believe they were inspired by the sega version.

SEGA GENESIS SHADOWRUN REMAKE PLEASE! I played that game a lot back in the day and it would be awesome to see an updated version of the game. I find the Sega Genesis version is the better of the old versions of the game.

@rkennedy - you are the first to mention HP being reset to 0... That seems strange. I know it worked before, but its possible it broke during one of the merges. I'll look into it!
