I can't see a problem in making a photon version. The DMCA refers to reuploading parts of the addon. Since you are creating your own script and don't reupload the addon ifself, there shouldn't be a problem.

@fives70 You can get lighting for the vehicle, and it's already in place. You just need to have a legitimate copy of VCMod. I'm not sure if there are going to be versions of these vehicles for Photon, however, because of the DMCA/Legal rights to the trucks. I may be wrong on that, but that's my two sense.
