can you implement a system of being able to auto resolve when a lord is not present? as sometimes i just want to give the darn settlement :''(

Random thought, no way to like...just go back to old bar eh? haha A. Kinda miss it, B. I don't need see predictive results when modding the game to disable it half the time anyways xD I know gonna win when can auto resolve it. C. It was arguably more accurate given how it displays information now. A man can dream.

Can there be other versions of the script? Such as without the lower than 20% when you want to just give a settlement with a small garrison. Thanks

As for the autoresolve shenanigans, that's not something I can fix as I use CA's calculated army strengths (which they also use to calculate AR results).

I haven't had any crashing playing as dwfs/thorek but I have noticed weirdness since new update to game's auto resolve. Had few times where it is blocked out on decisive victories with low casualties and enables when like a close victory with high casualties. Next time ti happens I'll try rem to export the old save file you, but not playing with just this mod so I dunno how useful it would be.

Yeah just had another crash after ive disabled it... seems utterly random when it does it. Blast it.

I don't think this is a problem with this mod. It might be an issue with another mod or the item itself. This mod simply disables the ui button.
Nevertheless, could you upload a save file somewhere so I can take a look ?

Just wanna give a heads up, when i equip the 15% phys res rune (The new ones) and auto, the game crashes, it works normally if i unequip them.

I consider this mod to be one of the best mods available since it means I can't spam the auto resolve. I always gets lazy around turn 15-20.

Plus it works great in co-op! A bit buggy, but for the most part, it does the job.

There are many mods which disable sieges by removing walls, so that's not a problem. This mod is great.

Yeah, alter playing for some time with this mod I think that it would be truly, truly great if it was disabled for sieges because of how boring they are in WH2 :).

This is a very interesting mod. One thing which I would change is to disable it for sieges, though. Forcing the player to play a siege in WH2 is... ugh...

finally, a mod that suits my playstyle. i personally think auto-resolve was the worst decision CA ever made on this game. but i can't help that slight itch to auto-resolve everything out of sheer laziness. this mod really helps

I love this mod! It gives clear conditions for when I can use auto-resolve and when not, so it prevents me from abusing it and forces me to learn how to improve my battles. :)

One reason is to save time when a fight is clearly weighted to one player. If a 20 unit stack goes vs a 6 unit army, the 6 unit will rout before the 20 unit can kill it completely, or waste time chasing routing enemies (usually). To my eyes, that difference of power (and mistake by said player) should be punished with the loss of the entire army. Thats when I use autoresolve, to save my own time and punish players from making dumb decissions. This mod helps to control that.

But then why don't you just not use it? idk, just seemed weird lol

@Pooh the point is that autoresolve is a broken and cheesy mechanic and should have been addressed by CA long ago. It abuses the fact that it ignores retreat and will kill entire armies on the first combat, whereas you usually get a retreat if you fight manually... unless you play undead.

A 50/50 combat will never end with any army completely destroyed. Autoresolve sais ♥♥♥♥ that and kills the losing army. And losing a 20 unit stack in a single combat is balanced /s

The mod seems to be ignoring lightning strike. Example:
Army 1 fights Armies 2 and 3 at the same time.
1 vs 2+3 does not have >80% win in autoresolve, cannot autoresolve (works as intended)
1 vs 2 (lightning strike), with 3 unable to reinforce, has >80% win in autoresolve, cannot autoresolve.

I'm not trying to be mean, but what's the point of this mod? Multiplayer or... I don't get it. xD

Just a head's up this does not solve the issue UlfricDid911 mentioned. Just a quick update so the mod works with the patch. Fixing that issue will take a bit longer.

It's worth noting, quicksaving and reloading will allow autoresolve every single time, no matter the percentage.

I normally do not comment on things. I don't even use this mod. However I just had to marvel at complaining about this mod. It... It is optional. You have to go out of your way to use this mod. This mod which targets a fairly niche audience. Which changes nothing about the game other than making you actually play it. I don't... I don't understand. How could anyone be offended at this?

To reiterate, I don't use this mod, have no plans to. I'd still like to thank you Marthenil for making it though, as I use plenty of niche mods and them existing is a blessing for people who love them. You add value to a game with no recompense. That sacrifice is appreciated. :)

People like you and the people who subscribe to this ♥♥♥♥ are honestly ruining one of my favourite series of strategy games. The devs Force me to play 100's of battles that the only way to win is to cheese the ♥♥♥♥ out of the bad AI.

they make auto resolve more difficult to force people to play battles because people complain it's too easy. Why would you want to play the same ♥♥♥♥ stomp 19x saurus warriors vs 6 skaven garrison 1000 times over. losing 1/2 your army in an autoresolve when you could play it and lose 30 man is dumb as ♥♥♥♥ and it's you people causing this. please ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stop
