I know u dont really plan on continuing with the Mushroom folks, but if u do: May i suggest, that cus of their big hats they cant wear headgear?
Mushroom people. Their main attributes would have been that they always have the Undergrounder trait and usually have Night Owl, plus some other small tweaks.
The variety of mushrooms that exist IRL gave me a lot of room to play around with their visual designs, but when it came to actually making their sprites, I struggled to make them look how I wanted, especially with headgear.
I can certainly understand that. Sometimes, even though you love your art, it takes too much of the energy you need for real life. Hopefully someday you'll have more time because the community loves your work. I'm curious, though- what was the race you had in mind before you kicked it to the curb?
I'm glad you're enjoying them, and thank you for asking! Unfortunately, the short answer is that I don't have any plans for any more mods at the moment.
There was another alien race mod I had started since releasing Klickmala, but I was unhappy with it as it progressed and abandoned it about a third of the way through. I had also considered making a mod that adds more animals to the game, but then Oskar Potocki's Vanilla Animals Expanded came out and covered just about everything I wanted.
I'm not ruling out future mods - I think I'll always love RimWorld, and I always enjoy tinkering with modding games that I love - but, for a few reasons, I've only been playing RimWorld a bit here and there, so modding is definitely on the back burner.

I don't want to spoil too much, and I really can't make any promises because it will be a while before I start any new mods, but I've had a race idea written down for a long time that is along those lines. Fingers crossed...
