The F-35C Lightning II original mod page is back online and visible again!

Hi beechhound,
We're currently having a problem which main F-35C mod page which after being updated the page became hidden. This is because of some "stupid" Steam rule which if the mod isn't updated by the owner but instead by a contributer (which was the case) it will become hidden.
Unfortunately I'm not being able to contact the owner (LAR/Travis Bickle) and he has been offline for some weeks now.
I hope that this situation may be solved as soon as possible and I'm sorry for the inconvenience!

hey guys im just wondering why the original F-35C mod is taken down on steam?

AVOID USING THIS VERSION OF THE MOD!
IT HASN'T BEEN UPDATED AND PROBABLY DOES NOT WORK AS IT IS!!

I cannot garantee to be able to update this mod in order to be fully compatible with Firewill AWS! However if someone is willing to work on this and thus to make it work, just "give me a call" here in the conversation.

Please make the airframe also compatible with firewill's 2000 ib LJDAM and other laser guided ordnance please.

Does the AWS system not work right now for the airframe?

Hello! Great set of mods. I believe though that FAWS is a must for virtually every plane mod but you've said you're not planning to work on this mod until further notice, which leads me to my question: Do you accept pull requests?

No. This addon models the F-35C but it does NOT model the F-35B which is the F-35 variant that 'hovers' if you will.

Does this hover ?

For now yes, consider it deprecated. When I have the time I'll take a look at this but again no promisses.

Please re-read my reply to MuchoCracker! I'm not going to work on this variant of the mod (at least for the time being), period!
As for the preset/default loadouts, this was already fixed in the latest update of the main mod which you can download from the link below:

So and again, if you want to play with the latest version of this mod then use the main version and not this one!

x2, just came to say that weapons aren't configured right at all. Threw an F-35c Stealth into the editor and all the preset loadouts are empty with just the gun pod. No SDB's of any kind are available, vanilla or Firewill, but 2 and 6 packs of 500lb iron bombs are, both slick and snakeye. This is for the internal bay! Thanks in advance for a fix.

@Hornet i was referencing the SDB because when you have this mod on it disables all other weapons from the main mod. So no SDB

While Laroche also put me as a colaborator on this variant of the F-35 mod (Firewill AWS), I don't think that I will be able to maintain this for the time being. Maybe I can take a look at this variant of the mod somewhere in the future but no promisses here!
In the meanwhile I'll be updating the main/original version of this mod and with that one I plan to add the following weapons: AARGM-ER (AGM-88G), JSOW C-1 and the AGM-158C LRASM
Regarding the SDB-II (GBU-53) the other mod already has it which works very well.

I feel like this jet is still too weak. We need to integrate SDB-II, 2000 ib bombs into the bomb bay and AGM-88 on external. In high threat environments, these weapons could take out vehicles more efficiently

What ACE settings need to be adjusted also you are working on a way to rearm without ACE or editor right?

You might have to change some ACE settings in addon options in the editor to make it work (i.e unlimited ammo supply and entire vehicle) for logistics, you also need to place down a HEMMT and interact with it. In the editor just double click the F-35 after its placed and you can change the loadout in pylon settings

How do you use the editor menu?

ACE doesn't work for me

what is the arming menu you can use?

@Mystia Lorelei I believe it currently does not support the firewill arming menu, you can use ACE mod's arming menu for the time being.

@Eddy_94 It is currently not compatible with the MQ-81, I'll update it to be compatible soon.

@Master Chief The F-35 doesn't use the AGM-65s so this is why I omitted them, as for the triple racks I will look into that for next update.

Thank you for making your F-35C compatible with AWS. Will you be adding AGM compatibility? Additionally, pylons with triple armament (such as GBU-12 x3) only shows up as 1 bomb, not 3.

@Laroche your mod is absolutely fantastic thank you! One thing, I tried to refuel with Firewill's MQ-81 Harpy but your aircraft seems not to be compatible. Would you please check that? Thanks again!

Is this actual compatibility with support for the in-game arming menu or just support for Firewill's weapons using the BIS pylon system?
