If I remember correctly, the sign was split up and the letters moved around the city, not removed in its entirety.

@NLX78 I went to Amsterdam recently. It's weird, because they fly more Pride flags than the national flag. You could also say that that means that people care about what they are not who they are. It doesn't make sense removing a sign for such a dumb reason that can be used against everything.

Amsterdam city council removed it because they thought it was encouraging visitors to see the streets of Amsterdam as just a backdrop for selfies. Gesture politics: the hordes are still coming. But the problem is real...

For the people in the unknown, this sign has been removed from Central Station because it was all of sudden deemed to be a sign that promotes individualism and not a society. Yeah, we have nothing better to discuss about anymore I guess.
