@CTH2004, you know, actually I think there is a way to build what you're wanting to build. I had seen on the workshop how someone made had made an automatic tether builder where it used pistons to make essentially a space elevator tether and would climb it as it built. I bet the same principle could be applied in a latteral movement and could be combined with a tunneling/drilling vehicle. Hmm. I will have to experiment with this.

And, I think I'll try to make a road building, auto tunneling, mobile hyper base (RB-AT-MHB for short)

I have an idea for the road, it just involves only 3 rotors, a multiple of thre pistons...

@CTH2004, Lol I like your enthusiasm. And I get what you're saying.The closest I've gotten to that is the mobile tunneler that I've made. It's designed to sit on blocks and dig a tunnel. In Theory it could be modified to build a road too. The Projector would have to be part of the grid you're building though due to the limitations of projections.Interesting Idea though.

But, one idea for doing that would be to have it drill at the front, ten have more drills that ajust via sensors, then use a welder at the back to make a road. IF you want to get very advanced, it could have multiple projectors, and if it detects a slope it makes a ramp...

Hm, maybe it could be put on a massive mobile base, since those are the types of things that need a road sometimes...
