If it helps determine how it could be done, I've seen plenty of planet mods add ice with unique textures that don't affect vanilla. I'd love to be able to add your planet to my custom solar system.

I was getting the altered ice texture without using the referenced Earth Ice Retextured mod, it seemed to be baked into your planet mod itself. Any way to change that?

Updated to work with the wind turbine block. As for what you said TwinMinds, I am aware of this, but unfortunately I couldn't get the desired look for Sanghelios with the vanilla textures, and the retextured mod was able to achieve this instead. Regardless, the mod is not required to run this world, but it will obviously look different. Apologies to anyone who may get upset with this.

It's a gorgeous world but it messes with vanilla ice/ocean textures, the deep blue ice can show up on asteroids and other planets.

maybe if you make the atmosphere a little lighter orage-ish pink and the ground a little more rocky with red sand replacing most of the grass similar to mars it wold look more "accurate"

This goes really well with its depiction in Halo Legends: The Duel. A worthy home of a noble warrior race.
