Fixed it: Just download the addon, unpack it using crowbar into a new folder, put the new folder back into the addons folder, unsubscribe from addon/smash dislike/report Brekku, then voila it works for some reason

okay i fixed it. turns out i had 3 other impact effect mods and they were just conflicting. bruh moment
