it works with the fix from the dlc before fury , just be careful , if you take teclis at mortal empire you have a crash just after load campagne and go deskop windos

i tried the fix that Circuleer suggested and it works for a new game but not with my saved game. is there a fix for that or is the old save unplayable till this mod updates?

The Strigoi units should seriously have their upkeep increased. A single stack of them can wipe out 2 full dwarfen armies with a load of Longbeards. There is no reason to bother with the Strigany units when the Strigoi are this strong

If RPFM doesn't work, download PFM instead.

A kind dude named @Fresh Prince of Solaire posted the following fix guide on WSF's Ordo Draconis mod.
I tried it and it works for this mod, ordo draconis mod and WSF's legendary lord mod.

His guide:

It's surprisingly easy to fix! Download RPFM: https://github.com/Frodo45127/rpfm , and then launch the mod in RPFM which should be titled: !why_strigoi_final_pack.

Then look for a tab called "agent_subtype_tables" and specifically click on "strigoi unique lords."

Then you'll see a column on the far right called "recruitment category", and the entries should say "vmp_legendary_lords."

Change those to "legendary_lords", save the changes, and you're done!

I'm not a modder, just attempting quick fixes, and I figured it out, it's easier than you'd think. Good luck! :D

It's also not necessary, for what it's worth. OvN doesn't conflict with this in any way, nor with the Ordo Draconis (In fact it will specifically look for the latter, and integrate in to it if you have it).

ok if anyone wanna know " if u use ovn mod + with this or draconis " it work somehow i dont know why just to let u know if ppl wanna play, any case Ovn has a script to let u select wich race can spawn in the game with another mod tool

Patience people. CA just dumped a new patch that buggered everything up a couple days back. I'm sure Whysofurious will fix it when they have a chance, but in the mean time, disable the mod and politely thank CA for buggering up your Skarsnik campaign with the patch.

Please update this, with it enabled warhammer II crashes on startup, without it I can't continue my skarsnik campaign :(

Yes, this mod wasn't beta compatible (Lord categories changed) and now the beta is live. All we can do is wait.

I think the new minor update is causing this mod to crash the game on launch

They have a mod for the Ordo Draconis already, if you check in to their workshop.

Nope, definitely no conflicts between them, I use them both without issue (In addition to about 90 other mods). Something is wrong on your end. Try a non-modded Vampire Faction and see if you still get the crash.

for what i read this mod seems incredible, but my game always crashes even before reaching the menu wiht this mod activated, i do have almost all of mixu's mods and i also have ovn lost factions is there some issues between those mod and this one? i have others mod but they don't change anything major and it doenst crash if i deactivate this mod,

This is an excellent mod. It's my favourite mod for WH2 and it even encouraged me to buy WH2 so i can play it in Mortal Empires because it looked so good.

Though i am a little curious if there is an option to change the faction name back to the 'Strygos Empire'? I know it is just a little detail and i doesn't really matter. I just like to see the 'Strygos Empire' marker over territory because it feels like a powerful name faction name and the whole "For the Empire" theme. Just curious. But it doesn't detract anything away from my love for this mod and your work. Thank you for everything. Praise Ushoran. For the Empire

Never change the order of active mods, it causes nothing but grief. As for it failing to load: I assume you own the first Total Warhammer, right? As you'll need access to the Vampire Counts data.

hey, i can't get game to load with the mod active, disabled all other mods, activated Mixu and the submod, changed order of activation but no luck. it just gets stuck on the initial loading page before the intro videos play. any help???
