@Dethrune25: WOTC has been out for well over a year now. And, as the mods would suggest, most modders (and dare I say, players) have since upgraded to that version of the game. Not only is WOTC more mod-friendly to begin with, but Vanilla and WOTC require two completely different SDKs in order to develop mods. Modders quite literally would need to do twice the work just to ensure their mod works on both versions of the game. Also due to version discrepancies, it's not as simple as copy-pasting code from one SDK to the other. If you want more Vanilla mods, then download the Vanilla SDK and get cracking.

I love how outspoken and raging Vanilla players are. They're almost like Vegans. @Dethrune52, are you new to the internet? Because, historically, modders and such have ALWAYS made mods for the most recent version of the game, rather than supporting an outdated version. YOU are the problem, not the DLC, not the modders, not Firaxis. If you knew anything at all about modding, you'd know that the Vanilla tools and even the Vanilla game is much harder to mod for than WOTC, and most mod authors don't like having to deal with that frustration just so the handful of players of Vanilla can play their mods.

WOTC has better mod tools. But you're free to port this mod to the vanilla game.

Almost every fucking mods needs WOTC DLC. I'm suspecting the modders like the developers so much that they want everyone to forcefully buy the dlc in order to use mods.

That Skirmisher with the Frame torso is absolutely terrifying.

This looks awesome, instantly downloaded. Not asking you to do it specifically, but man, this has me wishing that we had an exo race mod, just with the various heads and props. That'd be badass.
