You have to start a new run before you can enable mods

I pressed escape while in a run and and then pressed restart and okay and then it just shows the animation of me getting my head again instead of showing any menu and after the animation ends or I skip it it still doesnt show anything

I enabled it its still not there

By default it is not there but you can enable it in options

it doesnt show me anything when I start the run

wheres the box of the mod?

As mentioned in the described in the description

Go into options > gameplay and then enable the option "Activate the mod interface" located at the bottom of the list, now when starting a run just check the box of the mod you want to use for the run and press escape.

This alpha version only supposed to be a temporary solution though. It will most likely be deleted once 1.2 gets pushed to the public branch and it's no longer needed.

i'm guessing it wouldnt work with the rise of the giant update quite yet?
