I use Substance Painter for texturing and Blender for modelling/sculpting details :)

Well i guess that explains why the ones I've created still show up as the "stock" clothes in the thumbnail, but skinned when you put them on...
May I ask, what software do you use to create skins like that? I've just been using the "workshop" inside rust...

sadly that's out of my control, the icons are automatically generated by rust and it can be buggy sometimes

I love the glow effect but I don't think it will get added due to the glow at night being illuminated to other players removing the stealth factor.
If it didnt glow to others I think it would be perfect. Still voting for it

It's not as hard as you think Tea! I'm entirely self taught, a couple tutorials will take you a long ways. Substance painter is super powerful and comes with a 30 day trial. I definitely recommend downloading and tinkering around with it- i recommend this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0yWJAfVVs2s It's what I used when i first started using the program. The 3d skulls and flames i created in blender, which you can learn how to do by googling "Sculpting with Dyntopo in blender". You can import the models from rust into blender, sculpt right on them, and export back in substance painter to create normal maps; super handy and will get you very far (it's all I did for this skin)
