@CathMario He's meant to be used like antiquarian. He isn't gonna do much but slight support for the team in exchange of riches, however, the heir can become pretty busted with the right trinkets and set up. Letter opener also has total armor piercing. I think his riposte has as well, don't overlook it because he single-handedly got my team out of a bad situation with a bone commander.

Great class, makes the game much less grindy.
My main critique is the -30%dmg mod on Letter Opener. The class' dmg is already abyssmal, so why lower it even more?

As a personal preference, I think it would be cool if he had a camping skill that produces more of his white wine provision :P

Yeah I used a different name so that there wouldn't be cross mod issues and adding artist's initial was a first thing that came to my mind.

Personally I'm fine with the class. My only personal gripe is the naming of the class via files "kheir"? Maybe it's relevant to the artist "Kaxen" or maybe it's for better compatibility with the other heir mod?

I think he is really good. Without specific mods you can't convert gold to heirlooms so the heir + the anti take care of other kinds of resources.
He can stress heal, do some minor healing and chip down HP on mobs. Not the strongest melee-wise but it's not his design. From Vanilla PoV we can imagine it as a worse jester without ballad who can in turn heal. Other members carry the fights and the heir makes sure that you can upgrade crucial buildings weeks earlier.

Class is good for what it is, but he's too weak. I get that's the point, but he's even weaker than anti i think. I used to use him for the increased stacking but he's considerably worse than the money printer. You need to use the + level up stuff in every fight get every mileage out of it and at some point, all it is is just a one use stress heal (which is fair, it's job is done once your roster is level 6).

all in all, he needs a buff to at least have him on par with anti or a bit stronger than her, considering you don't need Crests, portraits, etc as much as you need gold. I stopped using the heir a long while ago because all he did was take up space for my roster, new recruits and valuable trinkets. But he has his place. if he gets some love, i'll definitely add him again.

Here a challenge for you all
As soon as you get the Heir or Heiress you have to keep them in the party for whole game (They only to take break if there stress is too high) and if they die it gameover. Think of the Heir/Heiress being the player character.

This class is great! Makes farming heirlooms much easier. If I were to change anything, I would increae the healing done to the target of A Snifter to Share, it doesn't make sense to me why it would heal the Heir more since he already has a selfheal skill. I would also increase the dmg of Letter opener to base, -30% on a classe that already deals low dmg is too much. Thanks for the mod!

I really love this mod with the Heir (and Heiress too), I literally cannot imagine playing DD without those two now. The design choice to make an artifact antiquarian, their outfits, personalities (bark/speech text), and the trinkets too!

@TheGreenDigi That is, until he obtains the Cursed Dagger. To that he becomes a one-hit wonder, and I mean that in both ways, so he'll need a bunch of healers backing him up as he also cannot be guarded.

@Firesparq That's intended. Much like antiquarian, he's weaker than most other hero's cause his main use is as a resource collector. Antiquarian is weaker than most heroes cause she collects way more money for you within a mission, and Heir is weaker cause he collects way more heirlooms for you within missions.

This mod has a small visual bug with Sunward Isles. When Hyakume uses Inner Join on him, the eye-slime covers his lower body (waist to feet) instead of his upper body (head to waist) like the rest of the heroes.

I was wondering you could give him a beard or a stubble or something. He looks too much like a pudgy child.

May you make the class name to be Rightful Heir or something such? As the class with the same name already existed and it's sometimes difficult to differentiate the trinkets, etc.

One of the other mods you're using overwrites tooltip for +DMG (not +%DMG that's commonly used, but flat bonus) with a blank space, for some reason. Putting Heir higher (tho not higher than mods that actually need to be up there) should fix the issue. If you could, you can also look into your mods folder and find (using Notepad++'s "search in files", for example) which mod does that.

If for any reason panic is buffing enemy, then either something went wrong with your download, or some other mod is intentionally tampering with heir's files.

Wait, is the ,,Panic" ability supposed to buff the enemy it hits? Or is it the Heir who should get buffed? Is it bug or balance change?

If there's one thing I'd criticize about him is that the sounds of his attack moves (Letter Opener and co.) are really muted, very quiet and restrained, they lack that ommph that the base game attacks have. But only the attacks afaik, the stress heals have perfectly acceptable sounds.

Dunno about Promotion as I've never used it since imo heroes already level up way too fast. :P
