Then again, it was Fleshly Mammal I was talking to at the time so you might not have known. He told me the same thing, didn't need the extra addon to fire grenades so I proved you needed it and he didn't reply after.

I'm not so sure if you were made aware of that but already explained in the comments on that page. The grenades give me error models if I fire them without the INS2 Shared Parts being enabled or installed, when installed and enabled it works fine.
