is it just me or does nothing ever work with the shotgun? model replacements and just adding stuff too it. nothing works. it never really seemed to work

If you are having trouble downloading this, Go to Steam Workshop downloader, then make a folder named "custom" inside the bms directory, now then go into the custom file and make another folder name mods, put that in the custom folder, then extract the files of the mod in the custom file, not the "mods" file, only the custom file, and your set!.

I cannot get this to show up in game. I get the little icon in the upper left when I draw it, and then I get the vanilla spas. Even when putting in a custom folder.

it is not changes form vanilla to thanez version, even when usubscribed and even when files in the custom folder so the question is what do i have to freaking do?

Make a custom folder in Black Mesa > bms > custom
Place the contents of the mod inside the custom file location.

The mods contents can be found in SteamLibrary > steamapps > workshop > content > 362890

Guys,you need to find it in the Workshop content folder (for me the folder number was 1643557116), then drag and drop the VPK into the custom folder for the game, and it should work, still works fine for me :)

I put the mod in the custom folder, it just won't work for some reason. I am also using a mod to add m4 gun in the game. is this not compatible with other weapon mods?

im trying to figure out how to install this and people are saying to put the VPK in the custom folder, now i would be able to do that if I KNEW WHERE THE VPK AND THE CUSTOM FOLDER IS. ive looked everywhere in the black mesa files but i cant find either of them.

Guys, I worked it out.
This addon still requires the VPK to be moved into Custom folder, do that and it seems to work fine.

It seems that one of the problems that cause it to not show up is when you have a viewmodel sleeve addon, so if it isn't working try just removing the sleeves.

Mod needs updating, dude. Icon is loading in the HUD selection but not the model. Please see this whoever you are, because I honestly hate the default SPAS with a passion! XD

this is nice, but it looks a bit clunky and takes up a bit too much of the screen. Still, I'm downloading this because the current shotgun is crap
