救援关的灯塔的二楼，楼梯上来拐角那一块如果跳到杂物堆里容易卡模型无法移动，其次救援关的救援飞机模型没对接好，必须跳上去，走过去的话会卡在飞机下面，无语:steamfacepalm:

like some people wrote here, game crashed for me and a friend, apart from that fun map 6,5/10 (most workshops map are less than 5/10 imo)

Theres a gap in the finale where can get stuck while going to the helicopter. Got stuck and lost the game.

Can't play, game keeps kicking me out to the menu on the middle of loading or when playing the 1st map due to sound precache overflows even though I don't have that many sound mods.

when having to deactivate the generators (specifically the one downstairs) you can just get stuck in the floor and it stops you from even crouching or jumping.

Guys, I think I found a solution for the crashes:

Switch. To. Vulkan. Rendering.

Ever since I switched to it, my L4D2 experience is crashless and smooth, even with multiple addons installed. I just played through the whole map without any crashes. I don't know about your PCs and your graphics cards, but you should definitely try it.

Obviously, the firsthand experience is going to be filled with lagging and stuttering, and the menu will stutter too. So here's a link to a youtube guide on how to switch to Vulkan and not deal with the menu glitches.

The stuttering and lagging issues will be gone overtime.

Constant crashes. Picking up melees or handguns crashes to desktop 90% of the time.

Be careful when you play this because I was at the end of the train yard chapter and after I turned off the first generator the game crashed on me and it sucks because I saw players reporting this issue on the deluxe version so it was why I came to this version thinking I wouldn't face the same problem and I somehow ended up having this issue as well. Very fun map all around though.

This map is very good, well polished, and very creative.
I especially like the custom voice lines at the start of each map.
- The gimmicks in some of the maps are also very cool as well, especially the sequence where you have to get on the train and turn off the generators as well as the finale with 2 tanks
- I do too like the gimmick on the map where you have to open up the train car whilst shutting off the generators, but once I got to the end, I crashed.
- Some maps feel a little open, but the foliage makes up for this fact for proving the special infected cover from fire.
- The running section is better than some vanilla maps due to it not funneling an endless stream of infected at you and not making it feel like you are required to have a boomer bile and or chainsaw.

这个图作者单开一个帖提到他们测试的时候没有问题，我是相信的，因为这游戏优化我觉得其实挺好的，低配电脑是可以玩的，通常闪退都是MOD问题，大家心里也清楚，只是想让作者努努力迁就迁就我们玩家。最后我在MOD带来的游戏体验和几个小时几个小时的浪费时间在闪退白打上，选择了好好开一局。City17、伦理问题等等想重温的地图都因为闪退，很多次没有通关过了（现在知道网上那么多联机佬大多是原皮是什么原因了）。这个图资源分布、花时间搜图给的资源反馈都很不错，各种武器、投掷甚至红点只要肯搜绝对够用，还是想好好玩一次。

最后来个有意思的，M5救援直升机和瀑布悬崖边有个缝，我上飞机的时候没跳，想走上去，结果卡到缝里了，最后是被Tank锤上飞机的（没纪念我）:)

第三关闪退4次，玩了快2个小时，终于通了......

第三关每次闪退都是警报尸潮期间，最后不得已的解决办法，是老老实实在主菜单的“第三方附件”里，看哪些MOD是红的（冲突）就取消订阅，我懒得一个一个对照着删，直接开始大甩卖，删到最后只剩三、四张三方图和AK、M60两个枪皮的MOD。虽然删了MOD玩着少点意思，甚至手感出问题，经常滑刀，但好歹是能玩了。M4也是冲尸潮中间卡了一瞬间，给我心卡凉了半截，好在最终是没有闪退。

seeing a lot of people commenting about crashes and map 3 an 4, while i only had a crash on the latter map, this was something i never had while playing on older versions.

I don't think I have a lower end machine.
Specs: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700F 2.10 GHz 32 Gb Ram. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 and running on a Samsung SSD 980 pro.
And it still crashes early in chapter 3. So specs - nah. Something else it must be. But whatever there are millions of maps so I just uninstall and load another instead.

so a very quick update but i manage to play whisper on winter on pc (gaming laptop) with mods and all and weirdly enough.... i didn't encounter any crash, don't know how tho. i played this on steam deck and yet crashed (might as well tested again but on steam deck and more fyi but i connect the steam deck to the tv)

TLDR: Im aware of the crashing on lower end machines, I have no idea how to fix it tho, read the post tho

I see so many people reporting crashes...
It is NOT because of the campaign (except for Chernobyl and a few other) but because of YOUR MODS.

I have a lot of mods and had to select them to avoir crashes. Don't blame the mapper for that !
