In addition to the previous comment, is there a way to prevent getting into the tripod as gunner while holding it and gaining the ability to fly across the map?

Your tripod is the best in the business and there's no real alternative!

Hey brother is it at all possibile to make the tripod compatible with ACE in terms of an A-Gunner being able to swap barrels and reload for the gunner?

How's the tent's respawn feature works? I dead and did not respawn on the tent I just set up.

Hey man, using this on a server. The weapons tripod is being funky. When I get in it (regardless of weapon, but for example a RHS M240B and NI arms MK48) the weapon rapidly switches between laying on the ground next to it and being mounted just fine. Works fine in single player.

Really appreciate your mod!

Just found some potential bugs while testing it for my unit.

1. The head keeps bobbing around everytime you shoot. Kinda looks like my head tries to compensate for the recoil. (if viewed externally)

2. Sometimes I couldn´t collect the tent, designator nor the tripod via ACE. Couldn´t find a reliable way to reproduce the problem though - Just happend for time to time.

3. Is there a way for you to add the possibility to holding down one of the adjustment keys for the tripod in order to traverse a lot faster?

I have a question, it is possible to add changing for laser code (looks like 1111) with ACE?
I mean, on hotkeys ctrl+alt+q\e you can make laser code, but always in laser designator display we can see 1111 code.

Got it working. There were some issues at first, including the laser target never being visible on the datalink, but the problem seems to be resolved now. I couldn't get UAV control of the driver seat(and thus the ability to turn on/off the laser and see the image remotely, but not aim the tripod) working, if people want that too I might try to figure it out again later. So it's just silently equipped with a UAV driver AI that does nothing besides keep the vehicle crewed and designating.

Giving it a UGV AI was something I had tried before, but the finer implementation details were a little complicated. I might try it again, though.

Oh, and another idea is to make it a UGV, in which the AI would control a redundant seat, while the "gunner" place is available to infantry, if that's possible. Vanilla "Stompers" have a passenger seat for meaty humans, so hopefully a gunner seat could work too.

Maybe you could slap a little script on it to add an action "Turn On" which would kick the user (if any is present) from the "vehicle" and replace with an invisible dummy AI which would do nothing bur keep the laser on until "Turn Off" action (which replaces "Turn On") is used, eliminating the dumy AI and allowing the use of the designator again.
Just sayin', 'cause it would be pretty nice to have an active laser and a free pair of hands.
