is there a way to fix the transition to floor 2? I keep getting consistently stuck out of bounds during the transition

This is a very well made level! A bit on the easier side for "very hard" for me (probably cause i have already suffered through beyond death wish). I love the atmosphere of the level however the gameplay can get a bit repatative, its mainly shotgun doges and lures, Im happy that its pretty much 100% skill tho, really fun level!

It's possible to do a no knives run, even a full-combo no knives run. But you need a lot of luck - I don't personally recommend it, but you can still try

Indeed a very evil act! Yeah, it shows that preserving your knives for the second area is important but it can be an issue when attempting a no knives thrown run.

It is certainly a bit cruel! I did want to emphasise how important it is to conserve Biker's throwing knives for the level however, waste them all on the first floor you're definitely gonna have a rough time on the second

The first area is well made but I really dislike how the second area heavily relies on the rng movement of 3 double barrel enemies.

As for custom music, I don't feel like it's worth the effort (for me or most of the players) to implement when muting it and putting music from Youtube works just as well

THIS is how you do difficulty, you don't bloat your level with too many enemies that it rivals dead ahead in terms of enemy count. Or fill it with annoying enemies like fat guys, dodgers, or dogs which break the flow of most custom levels entirely. Nor do you place enemies in annoying and pointless spots and then add windows to call it "difficulty".

You do something like this, and you make the player rely on the two things that made the first Hotline Miami so fun, quick reflexes, and using recklessness to your advantage.

Also, few custom levels use biker, so that's another plus.

Overall, very brutal in terms of difficulty, the first floor is pretty manageable compared to how brutal the second floor is. And it clearly has a ton of effort put in with all the custom sprites.

the only thing that would make this better is if it had some custom music, but eh, muting the game and putting something from YouTube on also works.

trying a full combo in this level gave me a brain damage, i didn´t even get it and to only realize that you have to do executions and no knife to get an S, that was the biggest fuck off in this entire level.
i hate and kinda like this level only because its so fucking hard that it feels like its luck based, i just hope that im wrong and that im just not good enough for this level.
i give 4 stars, not 5 because you made me angry as shit.

Most likely a bug, try restarting your game and avoid playing campaigns beforehand.
