By one as opposed to two, I mean that you could make the throwing of the shield a secondary firing mode on the weapon, the primary being the melee function.

When weapon firing modes become an official part of the game(they're in beta branch rn) in the next EA update, will you be incorporating them into this weapon? It would mean having one weapon as opposed to two.

for your next avengers mod, could you make something simalar to gesus's mod, the seraphim battle armour, but instead it could be iron man or the hulk, or even better, the hulk buster!

Yes,but don't rely on it too much,as explosions and knee shots will take you out.
Also i found that being flanked is a real issue,so try to stay shield up,kneeling and facing at the enemy.
The melee shield is better for blocking,as aiming covers your face and upper torso
