I'm afraid this won't be continued in its current form. I simply can't afford to. If this ever does make it to fruition, it will most likely happen as a standalone project.

Dude! I definitely want to see this come to fruition! I think a jailbreak makes a great scenario as part of a longer running Shadowrun campaign, honestly.

@OrionThePunter At this point, it doesn't make much sense for me to work on this inside Shadowrun's editor, since I don't get much out of it. I'd love to continue the project though.

@xanhisam Damn, this mod has sooooo much potential. I wish I knew how to help finish it, because I see the beginnings of an amazing story that could be done.

@Subotai This was a project made for my university application. Now I'm at said university and I don't have any time whatsoever to work on this. As I previously said though, I would like to continue it in some way, but it probably won't happen any time soon, at least not without some external help.

Haha no, you don't need to. The melee shop has some armors. I'm not really sure how the armors in Shadowrun work though. I'll make better equipment sheets for the shops once I spend some time playing Hong Kong.

great concept, looking forward to progressive opponents on the rooftop rumble. also, a basic day counter on the main hud would create a sense of time binding to the escape. amazing work for such a short timeline btw.

Other than one small bug; the thug enemy forgetting to move every few rounds or so adn standing there his little firend did all the heavy lifting, i really had fun. Its a really simple idea but a really good one. did not require much time investment on my part and i could jump into the action straight away 8/10!

well, you are definetly on the right track towards some really fun content. i quite like the prison idea.

now to gameplay feedback:
-one does definetly need a way to track the remaining/ already spent action points per day and some kind of day counter
-it wasnt instantly appearant to me that "fighter profile" meant shop
-as dave already said, one should get like a victory-slash-reward screen after fights
-the other combatants in the arena seem to be bugged sometimes (esp the guy with the club)

other than that, just keep expanding your mod! and hopefully, have a blast while you're at it!

You're off to a good start, for it being a week long project, and completely new to the editor...

Suggestion: Use text expansion on the loading screens. So your return to the Cellblock has a "you won" or "you lost" description... Same for going up to the rooftop. Some sort of clue about what kinda fight you signed up for (there's only one currently, but that doesn't mean it'll stay that way) would be a good polish piece.

So I took a quick look... You don't start with any cash, so you kinda go into the first fight with nothing. (You do get a pistol, but I put points into shotguns, naturally)

If you lose the VR fight, the game hangs... Needs a catch-all return to meatspace for a fight loss.

Checking in with the robot to get your reward feels a bit... non-intuative? Maybe find a way to clean that logic up a little? Also clarifying the fighers menu is the shopping would be helpful.
