why does STEAMMOD not work ?

Love this mod, its alot of fun, and there is a "story" GC.
The early part of it is pretty easy, but when you get past Bravo, that section amped up in difficulty from just how tough the ships were.
Now Charlie became annoying from your ships being captured, and no shielding on most of your ships, its a warning for others.

nothing's showing up in the mod launcher for the game. I've tried everything I possibly can with this damn thing! I've messed around with the launching set up of the game in properties, I've unsubbed and subbed to this mod again and again, I've closed and restarted the game more times than I can count and still nothing. Just a maddening blank screen where the mods should be.

What am I doing wrong here!?

I just read the description, and decided to tell anyone who's dumb af, this man here CAN'T add more factions or whatever to the mod, because this mod right here, yes, the one you're looking at now, isn't the original mod. if you want more units just ask the guy WHO ACTUALLY MADE THE ORIGINAL MOD, THE MAN EVEN TELLS YOU WHO MADE THE ACTUAL MOD

For everyone who experienced the game crashing while saving or loading:
I had the same problem. After a while i recognized that the game used network capacity while saving and loading. Just give it all rights in your FIREWALL and it wil work fine. (Saving needs about 10-20 sec.)

If i load my save then the game crashes

I have to say that Doctor Who and Star Wars are incompatible. That's why I have to ask them to rescue Star Wars and Doctor Who to remove Doctor Who units! Further, I wish them and their Low Descent that they find the criticism helpful.

@canshow Sorry, that was like a year or two ago at least. I've deleted the mod since then as I got bored of it. If I remember correctly though, none of the ships in this mod have targetable hardpoints, they all just have a health bar like corvettes. All you should need to change is the Tactical Health value for each ship. For example, I think the star destroyer has something like 60000 tactical health. I reduced that to 6000, and it seemed much more balanced. It did take forever, but I was bored at the time, and felt like tinkering a bit.

What do you mean I cant rule the galaxy as the Star wars faction or Halo Faction? ....

i have porblems to my game keeps freezing during a skrimish as well

Does anybody else have any issues with the game freezing less than 10 minutes into a Skirmish battle? And, is that something that only happens in original maps, or in custom maps too? (I haven't tried the custom maps, that's why I ask)

@Kuchenesser there's like 25 different files that affect unit health, and that's not including the files on the hardpoints. You saying you took the time to modify all of them? Would appreciate an upload of those files because manually modifying them one line at a time would take forever.

The original mod author told me a while ago that game updates messed with the mods balance, which is why ships have so much health. If you know what to do, you can solve that issue yourself. You can use a text editor like Notepad to edit the files in the mods directory. I don't remember which file it is, but one has the stats of all the ships(or there may be a file for each faction, can't remember). I edited them a year or so ago, and I reduced the health of all ships to I think 10% of what it was, and the mod felt much more balanced.

Please try to lower the health of enemy units. They take FOREVER to destroy!
