seems to be breaking terraforming cost (with this mod = 0)
without terraforming cost is fine
redownloaded mod in case of i break something unintentionally still same result

Well, before I declare compatibility with 3.2, I need to:
0. No longer be burned out on Stellaris
1. Check what changed in terraforming definitions in both 3.2 and Planetary Diversity
2. Write a code generator based on this
3. Test it in game

That's gonna take a while, sorry.

There is no descriptor file. So the launcher swears. Suddenly it will fix it. Please, is it possible to fix your mod, the mod does not want to work correctly in the new version 3.2

If I am going to update this, I would want to automate it (I got tired of doing it by hand :P).
And I am still kind of burnt out on Stellaris for now (I'm catching up on other projects), so it may be a while.

@Aeternuslee Sure they are compatible; they touch completely unrelated sets of files.

@Adventurer Sorry for the delay. Without going into too much IRL stuff, I am suffering a severe lack of motivation in Stellaris right now. There is a decent chance that I won't get to this until 2.9, where I will have to update all my mods.

@TechSY730 Hey quick question. Is this mod used with your other mod ""!(Patch): Starnet AI - Planetary Diversity - Guilli's Planet Modifiers Patch"" or does it also cover the other mods features? if you are meant to use both does load order matter?

Yes, this will work with Starnet AI. The description used to say that but it got cutoff because the Stellaris mod uploader likes to do that, and I don't have permission to edit the description to fix that. (Valve, why can't contributors edit description if they are allowed to edit change notes?)

And heads up, this may take longer then usual, because:
1. Acid planets were added as a new exotic planet type in the companion mod, and those take more work to fit in the framework
2. I am currently dealing with a medical issue (nothing dangerous, but it is disruptive)

You mean the AI won't be able to terraform to/from Rogue planets until this is updated, right?

This will need an update for the new Rogue planet class. This mod should work, it is just you may be missing terraforming options to/from Rogue planets until this is updated.

This mod builds off of the framework Glavius wrote, but can work even if it isn't enabled.

And no, neither the vanilla AI nor plain Planetary Diversity allow the AI to terraform. This let's them so it

In the required items it doesn't list Glavius but in the description and the comments it sems that it is needed. Is glavious needed?

@-Phase- If you are using the official launcher lower mods take priority. As such, it should be:
<closer to the top>
Planetary Diversity
New Worlds
<non compatibility patches>
[THIS MOD]
<closer to the bottom>

If you are using the unofficial mod manager "Paradox Mod Manager", then the order is reversed, as there higher mods take priority.

Also, use only one of this mod and the New Worlds version of this mod. The New Worlds version contains everything this mod does and also the logic specific to New Worlds. If you insist on using both mods, put the New Worlds one lower (or whatever direction is greater priority in your launcher)

Yeah, the description could use an update. You can still use this with Glavius, and Glavius will still use it (but let me know if you see a lot of extra lag; I may need to throttle how often the "deep" population scan is done)

Also, I am working on adding Coral, Mud, and Veld planet types. It's just that my weekend was slammed.

As far as I know Glavius is not abandoned anymore.

Paradox hasn't made any changes to terraforming files in 2.6, so no update unless PD makes terraforming changes in its 2.6 update.

Yes, this also works with Starnet. Starnet AI didn't really do much with the terraforming AI weights.

I discovered that Glavius' approach to surveying pops was just straight up broken, so a new method has been implemented. This new method might cause more lag in late game (my tests were inconclusive); please leave a comment if it does for you.

Makes it so the AI makes intelligent decisions about terraforming. It uses Glavius' framework that he created for it (though as I noted previously, it no longer requires Glavius, but rather is inspired by it)

Now that Glavius' AI is retired for now, this mod no longer requires Glavius. It will integrate with it if it is present, but will still function without it.
