dosent work

The mod is broken. When you go back into the cave with the elemental the first cutscene triggers and puts you under the map. You need to disable the trigger.

why are none of my workshop mods showing up in my data tab when i launch the game? I'm unable to click them on or off at all and I ran the game to generate the game files. I can't even run Skip Intro one of my favorite workshop mods

good for skipping the intro if you don't want any of the stuff in the forgotten temple
just download a save at rocio's ship

Starten geht Auswahl neuer Charakter auch ohne Probleme, aber sobald mann eine Stufe Aufstieg beginnt das Video mit dem ableben unter Wasser und allen anderen Sequenzen an abzuspielen, dann Insel und von dort gehst dann nur noch durch die Grafik bis Spiel abbricht.
Auch veränder der Startposition der Mod bringt keine Abhilfe!

Works well except I was hoping it'd put me on the shore, rather than after the cave and mud troll thing. If I had one request - at least make the water wheel raised so we can go back and get all the things we missed, because starting right now with all that missed stuff makes the game even more brutal lol.

Fix for the issue I posted:
Don't use the meditation power, use the Y key (or whatever you have bound meditate to) and you will be able to enter and exit meditation.

ISSUE:
When i meditate for the first time (before levelling up) I cannot use any powers and therefore cannot return to the game.

I'm having the same issue as Selendile030 where the intro isn't skipping the intro. I also have the Gameplay Overhaul installed.

Hey Davi; I installed this with a few other "most subscribed" mods including gameplay overhaul. For whatever reason, it isn't working (I installed it through workshop tool). Is there a version issue?

Since youre good at this kind of thing can you make a NG+ mod? Like so when you beat the game you'll start at the very first quest like right here.

I went back into the temple anyway, to get some equipment and loot.

just hit new game. still on the first quest: A Nice Day in Summer

ran into an issue on a new game, walked into the area with the mud golem then out, it brought me to that meditation area, and when i pushed y to exit it this happened

frankly I have no idea, but it's pretty rough not getting the starting equipment which is why i was walking back that way anyways only to remember the watermill

THANK YOU. I understand why this all was done for an intro but doing it even more than once is downright annoying. I wish they original modders would have given us the option to skip it.

Just a heads up there's a sort of "exploit" you can do. If you load up a game and immediately turn around and go into the temple, then leave, it triggers the cut-scene and you get another free Memory point. Not game-breaking or anything, but figured I should let you know. Not that I'm complaining about starting the game with 2 memory points or anything haha

Apologies, I just realised that in my first game I didn't have the gameplay overhaul enabled in my data files. It is for sure Gameplay Overhaul reducing skill points and not a bug introduced by this mod. Sorry :)

@FletcherFox That was an issue when the mod first launched, but it has been fixed for a while now.

I think this mod causes problems when (SPOILERS) you return to the dream state with Daddy after the Lion's Den quest. It takes away all your possessions and does not give them back you wake up.

I am using the Gameplay Overhaul mod. Though the Gameplay Overhaul doesn't seem to say in it's changes that it alters starting skills - also characters made with Gameplay Overhaul but without Skip Intro have 15 skills for me. Some conflict between the two mods?

@Zenuf Are you sure you're not using other mods that alter that? I know Gameplay Overhaul changes the starting skills from 15 to 5, but Skip Intro doesn't touch those values.

I think there is a bug with this mod. When i make a character through this my skills all start at 5, instead of the normal 15.

I installed this and it does not work. I am also not sure how to change the load order in their launcher. It appears in the bottom but nothing is changed.

@ViVi! You need to install it in the Workshop tools, first tab

Weird, I subscribed to the mod but it doesn’t appear in the data files in the launcher, guess I’ll have to go with daddy again 😰

It's always been my wishlist for enderal to have more joinable factions like the apothocerii, and a full alternate start mod to go along with that, still hope that one day people will make more joinable factions in enderal.

Once you finish your character build it starts you off outside the forgotten temple, Dont go back inside or else you'll get the glitch similar to @Xilo had experienced and can't go further. I had to restart my game and build a new character and not go back in the forgotten temple.

Having a major issue. The game starts up, skips intro goes into character creation and I can spend my Memory Point just fine. However when I leave the area with the Memory Stones I'm teleported to an area consisting of grey space, a few chests, some fire and a few other random static objects. Not sure if its something on my end but a fix would be great.

Have you ever thought about making a mod like Alternate Start Live Another Life that allows you to play the game without doing the main questline. I finished the game and now I want to role play in the world like skyrim. In my opinion a mod like this would be really popular and make people want to replay the game.

I rate this mod 8/10, because it skips the incredibly long starting quest. It would be a 10/10 if it started at "It starts with the dreams" instead of "A New Beginning"

Another "thanks for the idea but I'd prefer the beach" vote here, since when your arrive on the beach you don't have anything from earlier on.

That being said, I do mean the thanks, even if I felt the neat to a "but" segment.

I'd download this in an instant if either it started you on the shore, it started you with the temple accessible, or it started you with the items you would have gotten in the temple.
