Mods dosen't work , maps on campain and even on custom battels your maps dosent appear to work . Shame i like how they look

subscribed to the maps Load up Mod manager close it load it back up so the mods load order will be sorted tick the boxes from top to bottom and it should work.

Recently found your mod. Absolutely love it, but as others below have said im having issues getting the maps to work.

I had a problem installing the MoSS SOTS Castles mod, I can’t understand what’s wrong with me, like I installed everything from the “Required Products” list, connected everything and activated it through the Mod, user scripts registered, but the game changed no that in campaign that in user battle

Hey mate, really like your mod, Its my favourite map mod. I was wondering if it was possible to use the MOSS version of your mod on a co-op campaign or will that not work? I noticed that there is a co-op version of the non MOSS version, is there a co-op version of the MOSS version? Thanks?

@ksk0097 I am not sure. FOTS uses some different maps for the star forts. And this mod does not include the star forts. You would see the vanilla ones. I did not test it with the MOS FOTS sorry. Be free to try it and see if it works.

I have faced the same issue a couple of times, when loading with my mods. There is nothing common with my submods and SoTS so I assume that there is a mod loading limit hidden somewhere. Therefore I changed SoTS submods to movie format via PFM; this seems to work now. But you need to do it everytime it updates.

Loaded as shown above, no other mods, Total war shogun 2 has stopped responding, remove your maps from load order, load your non Moss maps, game will load, use any or all of your Moss maps, game stops responding, use normal Moss maps, game will load. Deleted all of your maps, resubscribed, same outcome. Reinstalled shogun 2, plus all mods, same outcome, somewhere in your maps for Moss is a glitch.

@Gestalt If you changed them to movie format they will load no matter what.

You just have to NOT load the MoSS_Extra_castles_NORMAL mods. Load only the ones with SOTS in the name. Check the picture with the big red X and big Green tick marks. But if you made them movie format they will overlap so you don't have to worry about that.

@RaccoonOnTheTree Yes it includes all maps but you need all the parts. See required items. You need MoSS SOTS Castles Hilly Coastal, Historical, Kyoto, Mountain, Mountain02, Mountain03, Plane, Hilly Plane (All MOSS SOTS parts).

See the screenshot here with the mod manager. Make sure you load all the mods like in the picture(The one with the green tick is the correct way to load this mod). Very easy to understand if you look at the picture.

My mod is named SOTS (Stronghold of the Samurai) it is a mod that adds custom made siege maps(all castles are historical) for the campaign. This version right here is for MoSS and it is split in these parts because that is how the creator of MoSS wanted.

The other Extra_castles but NORMAL are the custom maps made by the creator of MoSS.

You cannot use both his custom maps and mine. Look at the sreenshot how to load the mod.
They overlap so you either choose my SOTS custom maps or the normal ones. Also my version includes more historical maps in the pack MOSS SOTS Casles Historical.

This submod of MOSS is meant to be loaded with all the parts. See required items.

Whatas the diff between this mod and this file MoSS_Extra_castles_NORMAL_coastal

When you choose subscribe to a mod that needs addinional files you are presented with a list of what mods you need to subscribe for it to work.

My mods are split because they are too large for 1 file. If you want also Master of Strategy mod and mine use this mod here with all the necessary files from the list. And load all of them like in the picture.

If you want my mod only to play without MoSS you should go here https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1507645115 and get the normal version for vanilla or play it with other mods.

This specific mod here is ONLY for MoSS.

If you ask what my other mods similar to this one do. It is the same but split in more parts because it is too large and steam allows only 100 mb for 1 file.
