When I get to a computer I'll set it back to public for a day or so. That should give you a chance but I really advise against using those two engines as they are very out of date, innacurate, underpowered and poorly textured. I advise actually to remove the engines from your savegame

Finally a GC loco! I'm glad the Great Central hasn't been left out of the game. This will run beautifully on my GCR route with either the older style GWR coaches or GNR teak. Now all I need is a GC style island station with a track on either side of a single wide platform. :D

However, I think I will stick to steamers, as they are what I am fond of. For what I am going to do after the LMS 4-6-0s, I am not too sure. I no longer have the same sort of time available to start new models as I did a few months ago. If I am going to do anything else from here they'll probably be quite small engines, and possibly variants to existing models I have created, like a Webb compound or a LBSCR H2 Atlantic (based off of my GNR C1 model).

Suggestions are welcome, but asking me to mod modern stock is like asking Greggs to make you a burger

Velvetmafia was "making" an Intercity 125 set when he was caught stealing models again so his is officially cancelled as of now. We're nearly 5 years into the Fever franchise and no one's made a good Intercity 125 yet.

There's also a range of new Civity classes entering service.

Killakanz is currently making the 58 and he says it'll be done by the end of the week. We won't be hearing from Velvetmafia again and all his projects are gone as of now. Since you've done loads of the less famous steamers, why not do the same with something modern? There's dozens of classes besides the ones you've mentioned here. Even then there's still no Class 43, no Class 90 or 91, no Class 800. No Networkers, Turbos, Coradias or Pendolinos have been made. There's still loads of stuff up for grabs.

I'll have a think, I have 1 steam project left at the moment, as I started making all these meshes before Christmas, I am just only now getting round to finishing them (I don't really work that quick I just overlap stuff, this loco started in late November).

However, all the recent stuff that tickles my pickle has already been snapped up by Killakanz and VelvetMafia and a few others. Class 158, 47, 37, 20 and 142 have all crossed my mind at one point, but they have already been done to a very high standard. I can see a gap for the Class 55 but I'd much prefer someone like Killakanz who knows more about the model and who is frankly better at it than myself to give it a go.

The only outlier is the class 58. I love the look and aesthetic of the thing, but I do not think I will be able to model it using my current methods.

Anything that isn't steam or steam-hauled, really. There's a few people on it but they don't seem to be on it half as much as you're on your thing. Would be a fun diversion I think, modelling something from the last 50 years.

Define 'modern' :) While I would like to model a few diesels and electrics, there are many people far better than myself already on the case.

I think I already know the answer but I really think you should do some more modern stuff someday. You're killing it with the old stuff.

Not of yet, no promises. I tend to focus more on pre-grouping locomotives though I am slowly moving into the 1920s and 1930s
