the scares were good and the pacing was perfect for a horror map.
reminded me a lot of F.E.A.R. while remaining it's own thing, well done.
This was like a 4/5 until it got too horror.
After finding victim 2 and fighting combine, I was lost. I eventually went down some stairs, through a vent, and to the door with the note which was now unlocked.
Now I do like that the map is large and elaborate, but here I think you make the player backtrack too much to progress.
My second criticism is about the part in the office room where you need to hide. I just walked out, and was killed immediately.
It felt a little out of place, throughout the whole map you find weapons and ammo and can kill all the enemies you encounter, but then a monster appears randomly and you just die if it sees you.
That said I like having to hide from a monster, but the map should prepare the player for it, let them know that not everything can be killed with bullets. You could even just tell with some text on screen "I have to hide" when the player has to hide.
