I prefet to use FMLasers Myself... The Ion beam system will fit perfectly.

@ChristopherGS no this is not survival ready however it can easily be made survival ready as it just doesn't have the required machines (refinery, cargo containers, conveyor system) however the back wall of the hangar is where the reactors are

This build is Amazingly done, the internals need work on for practicality though (So much space that could be used for hydrogen thrusters, conveyer systems for turrets, etc)

The "Atlas Superlaser" works very well for a "glassing laser" and fits perfectly under the front, and the "Experimental Weapons" mod has tons of "lore friendly" laser turrets; but otherwise this is Perfect for vanilla

Yes, since me and many others perfer vanilla stuff I though it would be cool to try to make his ship look as similar as possible the the Halo Model but vanilla. And you make it sound like it was a few pieces but in reality I had to spend several hours just to keep it from falling apart. Since without the mods it was just a shell with a lot of holes.
