Maybe they use different evaluation mechanism in these two types of database and that is the reason why they can't merge them together?

What CMANO really needs is a combined database, so I and others can make "The Final Countdown"/"Axis of Time"/"Kirov" esq scenarios of modern-day equipment and tactics directly fighting WWII era equipment and tactics.

I have fun trying to pit older equipment that use fundamentally different doctrines against newer equipment; like big gun, armored warships against modern missile ships.

Unfortunately; since CMANO is divided into 1949-1979 and 1980-2020+ it's kind of difficult sometimes.
