Duplicate dyes aren't an issue people normally encounter, right? They were only added to your inventory because you messed with the editor.
I won't make a separate mod for this until it becomes a common issue. You added the dyes to your inventory using the editor, so I think you should be able to remove them the same way.
If this doesn't work at all, send me your savefile and I'll try to remove the dyes for you! :)

Bow Kid's hairstyle is controlled by a variable called HatSectionGroup. If you spot any clipping issues with a hat mod, I'd recommend you ask the mod creator to change their HatSectionGroup to "KidHat" or "FlatHair". "KidHat" gives Bow Kid pigtails, whereas "FlatHair" removes her curls.

This 100% needs to be in the game by default, especially when mods will break when DLC2 comes out

Thank you SO MUCH for this. It's been getting pretty annoying having so many duplicates. Btw, I was wondering. Is it possible to create a mod that replaces Bow Kid's hairstyle with the one she has for the Brewing Hat regardless of what hat she is wearing? The Brewing Hat and Ice Hat gives her pigtails. This would fix most of the clipping issues that she's been having with a lot of hat mods.
