@mad_exx I thank you for the mentions, they were definitely a huge boon but, the fact that people can use different mods that allow more hearthling customizations without an easy way to figure out the syntax used to name the modded options can be very tedious to debug and fix everytime you create a very specific roster.

When I attempted to follow your instructions, I usually kept finding 2 broken characters which then I had to figure out how to rewrite their strings to the correct names due to my use of a different mod that added more skin/eye options by trial and error. I fixed it at the end but at the cost of spending a few hours due to me not having a list of names used for each customization.

Would love it if the mod owner managed to somehow find a fix for it but I can live with the flaws for now since I know how to fix them.

Just wanted to mention some things for future browsers of this awesome mod :happyhearthling:
 No, this mod does not modify incoming hearthlings.
 You can use the Creative Mode and the Hearthlings of Many Faces mods to do that.
Yes, it's possible to add more traits and stats.
Just check the "Unlock Attribute & Trait restrictions" when customizing your party.
This mod DOES work with ACE.
It's something with ACE that isn't working. Solution I came up with:
Select the cog "manage" button on Steam > properties > installed files > browse > saved_objects > stonehearth_ace > starting_rosters
You can see all your saved rosters are saved, just not appearing in-game. Use a program like Sublime Text to open them. At least one character will be messed up. Correct them by comparing it to the others in the file you know are right. You can't have ANY bad files in the folder or NONE of them will load.

yeah, I've been trying to find a mod that either lets you edit the attributes/traits of new heartlings, or give you a choice between a selection of hearthlings similar to Oxygen Not Included

How high can you raise the stats in unrestricted? The highest I've gone is 101. I've litrally done that!

it would also be nice to chose the race of our Hearthlings between the Default Bunnies & Orc's, as well as modded races like Clan Amberstone Bunnies, & Firefly Clan Goblins & others

@『Hush』 , I love that idea of in-game character customization. I think it would be awesome to have like a new BARBER class, where Hearthlings can go and change their look etc!

Anyone else having an issue where the select "Add Trait" and nothing happens till they start the game then suddenly while it's loading in the game you have the "Trait Window"?

I love the idea of this mod! I hope that there is some development that goes into making it so that new Hearthlings can be customized too from the character screen or from a work bench of some kind, like an idol they pray to, lectern they read a book from, etc.

This mod is so excellent! Though I would like the option to add or remove traits for new Hearthlings, I know that this can be done easily enough through the console. However, one of the things I noticed, is that console commands cannot be used to add/remove any of the new traits (i.e. Heliophile, Alcohol Intolerance, etc.) for any new Hearthlings; though they can be for embarking Hearthlings. Any way you know of getting around this? Otherwise, I end up spending time reloading just before a new Hearthling arrives, just in hopes that they get one of the new traits I want, lol.

Any chance there is mod you know of that gives you a character sheet menu to customize new hearlthings with? I remember this being apart of the locks of many colors, apologies if this isn't the actual name of the mod. It integrated a larger bank of customizable options like hair color, etc. Am wondering if it would be possible to implement that with the ability to add the traits from another mod (will return with name), as I like to give my hearthlings the preferred profession trait in order to keep things organized lol.,..

well disabled does not neccesarilly mean gone, i know that kais traits is both old and modifies the UI, and time tracker also does stuff with the UI.

firefily, ace, extra map, all the goblins stuff, fisher, autoharvest and auto golem guns are not your culpret.

might want to try unsubscribing from the time tracker and kais traits and see if that helps.

Thats every Mod I use, Ive went thru and disabled them 1 by 1 til I had no Mod but Beam active and it still didnt work

@Ulfhedinn you dont see the yellow up and down arrows AT ALL? or the trash can icon next to the picture? i also dont know if this works for bruno's goblins. never tested.
if you dont see the icons, another mod may be interfereing, would need to know what mods you use to see if there is something odd in there.

I mean't there are mods that make the hearthling stats constant. Meaning during gameplay for every new hearthling you get will have fixed stats. Taking the SuperX mods as an example + this mod would allow me to get certain stats such as 12/12/12 for every hearthling I have and will get. This aside it doesn't even matter because I was afraid the 2 mods would conflict with one another but it turns out they don't so it works no matter what.

Probably one of the best mods made for this game. Also would it be possible to get just the trait portion of this mod as a separate mod? I love the idea of both sides of this mod but I prefer my hearthling stats constant instead always changing.

I think it's wierd to want to modify the stats of newcomers since they're imigrants and you never know who wants to join your town, but the starting roster i believe you should have some control over the same as what items you want to bring should be costomizable

i dont think there is one to edit stats when they come, there is one where you can customise their appearance though, i think it was called hearthlings of many faces (homs?)

@Bolune, [If it doesn't already], would it be possible at all to make this work in-game in some way, as well as at the roster screen? Even if through a little console command that brings up a small UI window, if typed while a Hearthling is selected, similar to how Hearthlings of Many Faces has their console?
