They updated adamantium specifically to stop the BFC. :(

had a base that was fully protected... were about to shoot.. enemy shot a laser boom bfc is gone and my base exploded ;-;

But beware that the momentum of the shot is still transfered into the structure, so BE CAREFUL! You might stop the round, but it might very well either push your base, or even make a shockwave on your structure.
