i really like the idea only problem is the sprite of the tounge

works with repentance only issue i find sometimes is you will try to open a locked chest just for a mimic to pop up and give a "surprise motherfucker" in your face

I'm not sure, I don't tested yet, but I think that works

Id love to see this come back, cause honestly, Haunted Chests feel MORE like Mimics than the actual Mimics in the game

Ok, well sorry for being a little hard on you i think i'm gonna make some screenshots with this mod.

Isaac yes, I used normal enemies as template with just some changes on the attacks to make the mimic chests

They are a bit to bland they are just chests with teeth and the red chest i saw bouncing is Ministro reskin but he fires 5 blood drips 5 different ways and the golden chest that gets up and moves is just..no but sorry this is just my opinion

don't know if it'd be possible, but it'd be cool to see a trinket that makes mimics friendly and causes them to attack other enemies (perhaps at the cost of being incapable of dropping loot and despawning when you leave the room/drop the trinket so you can't cheese rooms with a lucky mimic)

The fact the brown chest's top middle tooth is uneven angers me greatly

I feel some of the spritework could need update to have Isaac shading. Such as the tounge and teeth.

can mimics from normal isaac be mimic chest?

Remove the tongue IMO, or improve the sprite :)

Well hutdavide booster packs are now done, so i don't expect a 6th booster pack any time soon. Plus the team plus the Antibirth devs are working on Repentance dlc.

great idea, but i think higher luck, like 8-10 luck would decrease it to 1% but it cant go any lower
so its balanced

I think should add lowering chance for mimic chests due to luck of the player.
(like 5 luck: -1% for mimic)
