If you are looking for a new focus of a mission. I have been reading a lot about the days after the Normandy landings. The hedgerow country was really difficult, what looked like small hedges from the air was in fact 6 foot burms covered with thick tree cover. Impenetrable for all tanks unless fitted with special ploughs etc. This created amazing as defensive positions and the US had to learn fast to stem high losses. These hedgerows stretched for miles, one after the other.

Described in books like D-Day: June 6, 1944. The climactic battle of WW2. There are other books I can point you to for more info, including from the German side.
