@Valk: Please follow the instrucions in description: For optimal visual performance (as seen in the screenshots) you need the Environment changer and make sure the setting is on „boreal“ before loading the map. Otherwise the map comes as „tropical“, which doesn’t fit the area as good as „boreal“ imo.
Should work ;)

I know the solution. The theme doesn't work for the map. You set the theme to Tropical, while the theme could only be used on Tropical maps. This map's base theme is Boreal. So I had to get a Boreal theme for it to work. Please fix it, I wanna use the Coastal Theme on the map

Damn it man! I wanted to play the map. Turns out, I can't put on any theme. Please help

@Reinsin: That's strange... are you sure you have all required items? Sorry for inconvenience. For most of the people it seems to work. Hope you can fix the problem!

Great map! As a Bulgarian I am inspired and love to play on it. However, 7/10 times I can't load it and the game crashes and sometimes it does during my play session on the map. Sadly I don't know where the problem is but I don't have such problem with other maps :(

is a great map wth great fun for you to have wth all the natrual ressorces to play wth but even tho ive spent hours ttry to use tmpe to fix traffic i just couldnt work it out so pls re work the junction

otherwise greeat map well done

loved the map, but it sucks to get bad traffic on the highways

Is the theme supposed to show up like that because i cannot apply the theme onto the Varna map. Also there is no picture of the theme like it normally does.

@Shreddy There is no ramp missing - everything works fine and on purpose.

lol that highway intersection gave me eye cancer. Also you missed one ramp

I cant use the coastal them i have it downloaded but it doesnt show up and says custom theme is missing

@RadGH : I wonder, because you only need Norway spruce as you find on the list on the right hand. "Norway Spruce 2" isn't used on this map... Very strange. Anyhow: Glad you could play it and thx for the feedback! Enjoy it :)

Theme didn't work for me until installing environment changer but then it worked.

When loading I got the error that it failed to load "norway spruce 2" even though I have norway spruce installed. Still seems to work, but I'm guessing a lot of trees are missing.

Great looking map though, going to play it as-is. thanks!

Please enable this mod and make sure you have the settings on "boreal". Then you will have the result as it's shown on the screenshots. Please ask, if you have further troubles

This map not seeing any theme. Iam not able to pick any theme, so this look ugly without it

@Fxsxtxr : First of all: thx and glad you like it! Yes, you are right, in real life there is only a small road connecting to the little island and the highway exit is on the other side. But in consideration of the fact this is still a map for CSL we decided for better gameplay and put the intersecion on the island, may be for the industry, because you'll find ore there. Our main target was to design a well playable map; often it's a better choice for the game instead of sticking to real life at 100%...

I want to say that this is an awesome map. I'm gonna use this and work on a city "based" on varna. This map inspired me...
question though. looking at google earth it appears there is only one small road to the middle island. there actually is no highway exits so. if anyone knows...xmicha3tx....does anyone actually live on the middle island and how do people travel to the island?

@okay Please take a look at the General Notes . This is the message you get when you start the map without Environment Changer . You can start the game as usual, but then you get the tropical envirmonment.

"this custom map theme is used by this map or saved is missing" please help!

This happens because you have Prop & Tree Anarchy still enabled. Turn it off to prevent this behaviour. Of course you can use this map completely without this mod or turning it on by default, but decorations become invisible, that are too close to e.g. roads.

Love the map but when I make a road the trees won't disappear, have to remove them by hand.

Thank you guys, downloading the Environment Changer mod has fixed the problem!

@Fox : on my end it even works without activating the environment changer, just download the mod and let it be deactivated in content manager. Hope you get it solved and have fun with the map! In case you have troubles: please ask again here.

Please take a look at the description, paragraph General Notes. You need the mod Environment Changer to use the Boreal theme with Coastal Theme.
As soon as you subscribe and enable this mod, the message will disappear and you can enjoy the better look.

However, I keep being told by the game that the custom theme used for this map is missing. I have downloaded all the dependency mods listed, so I do not understand what I am doing wrong.

@xmicha3lx : thank you for your comment. It wasn't the target to rebuild the area 1:1, our main target was to provide a good and playable map for CSL. Of course there's artistic license. Sorry, you aren't happy with. No offense. And to whom it may concern: thank you for the first negative vote

I live in Varna and I'm sorry but this map doesn't resemble Varna in any way, shape or form. You got the heights right and I congratulate you on that. The rest of it is sheer fancy. If anyone wants to see a 1:1 map of Varna with all the streets, BLVDs, lanes , highways and COASTLINES!! put in the proper place wait till I release my map. But I give you credit for your effort!
