i just relised i'm on 1.6.4543 instead of 1.6.4566 the most recent patch, this is probably whats causing the issue i'm sorry for the inconvenience

I can't seem to figure out how Arousal of Kyulen works, it only appears when drafted however nothing happens when I try to use it, the Kyulen will just stand there and refuse to cast, I assume this is how you are supposed to get the other abilities,

I decided to test to see if it was only Arousal of Kyulen which was having issues for me and found some out some others weren't working right those being: Wave of Suppression, Fox Rain and Blessing of Work. these 3 all had the same issue as Arousal of Kyulen with them refusing to cast.

However Illusion Form Change was broken in a different way, there were two versions of the ability so i tried both the only difference I noticed was one had a neural heat cost. they both cast but neither worked the one without a cost does a little pulse effect but nothing else, however the other one does a much larger pulse and has a sound effect but also doesn't seem to do anything. None of these bugs seem to throw errors in the dev log.

Curious, when the Kyulen showed up, I was instructed to 'contact' it, which was done by right clicking on it and selecting "access".. at that point I got some information (not sure if spoiler so I wont say what exactly) and then it joined my colony

Thank you; I ended up killing the black kyulen and spawning a new one(dev->spawn->blackninetails), then manually advancing the study it finished again and then used the purification wave.

Void research is possible even if you've already tamed it. Since returning it to the wild is blocked, you'll have to either create a new one in developer mode or kill Black Kyulen and hope the event triggers again.

Normal taming is now blocked (though developer mode is possible). Black Kyulen must complete the Void Survey and use Wave of Purification.

Normal animal taming wasn't possible in previous versions, but it's now possible. I'll fix it.

@[KOR]Bichang Hmmm, I tamed it before finishing the study. So I already had "recruited" it before finishing the study. And there is no "release to the wilds" button. the Wave of Purification does nothing except kill all the other creatures, the "Corruption of void" is still active after using it. Is there anything I can do? I think it is a similar issue to what TREANTO3 had, about 5 pages back.

tldr:
-Tame Black Kyulen before finishing study, via normal taming of animals
-Trying to use Wave of Purification does nothing

After completing the Void Investigation, using Wave of Purification will normally recruit Black Kyulen. There may be an issue with some mods.

@[KOR]Bichang The black kyulen study progression made it so it seemed it could be purified by the other kyulen, but I tried both Mental Care and Wave of Purification, but neither seemed to work; Can the black kyulen be really be un-corrupted? I had tamed the black kyulen. Or should I have done differently?

I'm guessing there is a potential conflict with Vanilla Psycasts Expanded then, as I have Royalty and my Kyulen spawned with a Lv1 psylink but no humanisation ability. I'll add it manually for this run, but you may want to look into that and decide how/if you want to address it. Thanks for the answers and patience. :fhappy:

You must have the Royalty DLC. If you have it, Kyulen will appear with that ability.

When/how do they get that? What are the conditions for it? I'm just trying to figure out how long it'll be until my Kyulen reaches that point, and/or if there is something specific I need to do/aim for in order to get them there.

Thanks for the answer, though I still find it a little confusing from a mechanics point of view.

On a different note: When is a Kyulen supposed to get the human transformation ability? Mine has a level three psylink and they still don't have it. I am using Vanilla Psycasts Expanded if that makes a difference.

So is this an animal or a pawn? The game seems to be treating them as both at the same time (they appear in both the Colony Bar and Animals tab, have both Training and Bio tabs above their infocard, etc)... it's a little confusing.

모드에서 추가된 "수리키트"라는 아이템을 사용하여 모드 작업대에서 수리를 하는 모드인데요.
주민은 수리키트를 사용하여 정상적으로 아이템을 가져다놓고 정상적인 속도로 수리를 진행합니다.
문제는.. 큐렌의 경우에는 수리키트도 없이 아이템을 수리하며, 심지어 수리 속도마저 주민이 100개는 수리했을 정도로 너무 절망적으로 느리게 수리를 하고 있다는 점입니다 ㅠㅠ..
최소한 속도만이라도 어떻게 되면 좋을꺼같은데... 혹시 해결이 가능할지 문의드립니다

It was found that RimTalk was the cause.
It's puzzling that no abnormalities are observed and no redness occurs when only one side is affected.
However, if that's the case, the solution is simple. You just need to install this MOD first, then after landing and saving, you install RimTalk. Surely, probably, maybe.
I'm sorry for making a fuss unnecessarily. That concludes my report.

I encountered an incredibly baffling bug (it doesn't output red text!) and I am reporting what is known so far.
When used together with the Character Editor, I can't customize my character during the character creation before landing on the star… even though I can adjust individual aspects after landing.
Since it didn't occur when I tested with just the Character Editor, this MOD, and its prerequisites, I'm going to try checking about 600 cases by brute force.
I'll report if there is any progress.

Hyia, thank you for the great mod, I really like the easter eggs and hidden things like love beyond race, between others too.

However, I think the "Colony has a ideology of Human Primacy" debuff might be not working as intended. I have 22 pawns, 21 of them have the main ideology of my colony which is just loyalist. One of them which I recently recruited has a ideology with "Human Primacy". This gives the Kyulen a -10 debuff, even though 97% of the colony does not have that. I even have the shrine.

I think instead of a mood debuff, it should be either a relations debuff to the paw that has it, or change the text to "Human primacy is present in this colony", and change the strength from -10 to -2, unless the colony is majority "Human Primacy", which then should give the intended -10.

Uh... I think you could ask the Milira mod maker to check Race.Animal when giving equipment-equipping jobs. After all, automata are mechanoids.

When NinetailFox is present, the pawn persistently attempts to equip NinetailFox with gear that cannot be worn. For example, a helmet.


Regarding this feedback, I'd like to clarify my environment.
My setup includes the Milira mod series. When I enabled the option for Pawn to automatically equip gear on Milian automatons, the error above occurred—likely because NinetailFox was mistakenly identified as a Milian automaton.

Could you add more anomaly-style abilities to the Black Kyulen, similar to the in-game ones like Anomaly Medicine? I feel that the Black Kyulen currently has too few abilities, which makes it a bit too monotonous.

@[KOR]Bichang Using Ferrny progression modpack , vanilla idealogy expanded memes and structures adds psycast memes . Kyulin bond on my revia race pawn and after i deleted that , she romantic with my standart pawn .
1 more moment , idk that is normal or bug with that modlist , she work like pawn ( can all work and have pawn tab ) .

The romance trigger requires bonding or being of the same race. Don't form bonds. And I don't know what mode allows a psycaster to become the leader.

Is there a way to have a ''nerfed'' variant of the foxes? They're cool, but a bit too powerful.. I'd really like a way of disabling their 'resurrection' ability, and even if I can lower their damage, I still feel that they're a bit TOO strong. Their abilities, ans psycasts aside (They have all paths unlocked, which shouldn't be possible in my humble opinion.)

I'd like a more detailed mod-config, where I can specifiy basically everything that they can and cannot do. -

1. Ability to select which Psy-Paths (Disabling IE. Transcendent & Archon)
2. Ability to disable Their resurrection ability, if a bonded person dies... (Plus the buff it gives post-resurrection, that's just too much)

Not sure if this one is more on the Kyulen AI or the Multible Floor AI, but Kyulen act a bit weird with the Multiple Floor(Dev Version) mod.
They do traverse between floors for work, but later won't go up again unless hungry. For sleeping they just stay on whatever floor they are atm, and lie down on the floor, instead of going back to thei beds on the ground floor.
