It works fine for me as well. No problems whatsoever. Are you sure its this mod? Try and disabling all mods except for this one to verify.

For me it doesn't cause stuckings or crashes, instead works fine.
Nevertheless I feel sorry for you :/ I have placed it as far as possible down the playset.(but above UI Overhaul)

This mod causes Stellaris to get stuck at the splash screen right after you launch the game from the launcher for 2.8. That means that this mod can NOT be used past 2.7 even in the slightest.

I understand that you don't plan on updating the mod further, I'm just here to warn people that this utterly breaks the launcher. I will be unsubscribing, but I hope that your future modding endeavors are fruitful for the excellent mod you'd made and supported up until just recently.

Ok well I managed to fix my problem myself:
I opened console and entered event eac_tech.0
I'm very surprised I figured this out on my own.

I had a robot rebellion and sided with the robots. I no longer see the options to "back to the drawing board" anymore.

Each research branch can use the back to the drawing board tech ten times.

Nice quality of life mod. The random factor can be frustrating to deal with, this is a great workaround. I have subscribed to a few of your mods and will be back to rate/favourite them after a few playthroughs.

do you only have 10 times and once they are gone, they are unrecoverable, or do they reset every new research?
