Finally, a mod to feed this annoying creature! Although I still need the cake to tame it.

If people are looking for an alternative, with Structures Plus, you can assign dino's to a feeding trough. simply make an extra trough, set it to only Achatina and boom!

i dont have a mod to breed snails, they been popping out babies x3 so happy i found this mod, fingers cross they will eat berrys now

Can you possibly add ini settings for the fruit salad? Something that would make me be able to decrease the cooldown on the fruit salad, increase or decrease the amount of food it gives etc? Thanks!

Just a heads up, the cake isn't useless. (Granted, the snails being tames by berries would be op) the cakes are awesome auto heals for dinos, carnivores and harbivores are healed by the cakes when it's in their inventory, and they will auto eat it when they lose health to get the regen effect. Thank you for this mod though, as cakes on tamed snails just becomes tedious, not even difficult, just horribly time consuming.

Yep I was trying to figure a way to bypass the delay for feeding them the salad, so instead I just built 5 of the structure plus troughs and filled it equally with cake and salads just tagged for the achatinas, so they don't starve since only one of them can eat at a time from the stack

This mod is just a basic cake^^ craftet with berries and with a new texture. They will eat it and it can be fed by the feeding trough. I think one regenerates about 400-500 food points

Works fine with the "breedable achatinas" mod, love it. Please add ini features to control how much it fills them up so I don't have to worry if they starve on my solo game

Testing with the "breedable achatinas" mod, high imprinting means their hunger level is huge and is a pain to fill it with veggie cakes

My bad, I found it. I was searching things like "berry" and "snail" because I can't read and didn't see that it's called "Salad".
Love the mod! I'm off to get more snails. I really like how the food does still take a little bit of effort to make, the snails aren't super-easy to keep happy, but it's a LOT more reasonable than veggie cakes.

@Fishkeeper I never tested it on Extinction. Search for "Fruit Salad" in Engrams, And in the player crafting inventory (when you unlocked it)

I'm not seeing the engram for this mod show up in Extinction. Is it there and I'm missing it, or ?

No more fat snails yay! Always thuoght they were awefully spoiled eating nothing but cake, this new fruit diet should be much healthier for them and save a lot of time and stims making cake.

good now with ultra stacks & 500 Crafting speed wonder how long it'll take to craft 10,000 fruit salads

@Torkkar I think if i edit the snail i would have to change the spawns and it would count as a new dino. I made a consumable for balance reasons, but it is not very expensive...though. We are playing on a small server and I didn't want to farm cake every day, but I wanted a reason why you should make at least some cake (for taming). Everyone should be able to eat fruit salad (Players and Dinos). It is crafted in the inventory.

cool can fruit salad be eaten by other animals & where is it crafted?

Also why not just edit the snails acceptable food list to have normal berries.

All You Can Eat Snails lets them eat herbi food and be tamed by them although its via a new dino rather than consumeable

@Stilgar It's purely for "balance" reasons. Achatina prevent organic polymer from spoiling quickly, which is very valuable, so they were made high maintenance creatures.

Love it! I've always wondered why, as a snail, Achatina cannot eat literally everyhing organic, and is instead confined to eating veggie cakes exclusively.

They eat berry bags in the Immersive Taming mod, so this is right on for me when I use that mod :)

@nope.npc: I think the intention is to curb the requirement of having to make veggie cakes after you have tamed the snails, as in vanilla that's all they ever eat.
