metal grids are already strong enough, it is the blocks that have steel plates that need the buff, mainly that light armor, which shouldnt even be called armor :)
it might be because you are using modded weapons that are too strong for weapons vs armor, and need shields to balance them out.

Any chance you add version including metal grids, that way equally light and heavy armor are being addressed this way and balancing of these two to each other is being kept.

thinking about it a bit more, a version that does not increase weight at all, so one can use all bps without needingin to change their thrusters

so that one mod has equally the metal plate and metal grids improvements
and of those then a version that does not increase weight as much as vanilla would

Would you consider doing a similar mod with metal grids so that it only really impacts the heaviest blocks? The only one I can find that does it is a bit OP and out of date.
