Damagewise its ok, as my goal was to make space batles between my ships longer as I realy didnt liked that within seconds fight was literally over.

why did you take out the turbolaser mods, now the ship barely does any damage and can't track enemies

If you get DLC's they will appear when spawned. If you don't have DLC game prevents you from spawning blocks you dont have.

i dont understand cuz im dumb so if i get the DLC's the halls and rooms walls wont be incomplete

Without DLC you are missing blocks.
I stoped making DLC Free builds as it means to not use almost 50% of ingame blocks.

Time to move on and buy them. :)

this is amazing but unfortunately the interior halls lead to the inside (the inside thats meant to be hidden) i dont have the DLC's but i dont know if that will change the walls in the hallways and rooms

There was not much space for them anymore as ship is using angled hinges technique for structure.
Puting more would make it unable to be thruster damage friendly and I didnt wanted to make holes for them on hull.

However, It would be unplayable in atmosphere even with them as ship is very heavy affecting sim speed. It would crash my game anytime I would try to fly it with so many thrusters.

Big lose on sim speed was reasson why interior is not bigger as I planned.

The only way to make it enter Atmosphere is some realy powerfull thrusters mod to place inside. I remember nuclear thrusters mod was that kind powerfull and 1 of these was able to hold even 200k blocks ships on sky. Because I wanted to make it pure modless I didn't added them. But there is always possibility on your own.

Given the Star Destroyers were able to fly into planetary atmosphere, is this purely a limitation of the game supporting a weighty ship of this magnitude with atmo thrusters? Or/and was there simply no more interior space left to place them?

Probably because it's updated build since 2017. Unfortunately with so many dlc blocks and fact its almost impossible to build new ships without them at sacrifice on details, I stoped to pay attention on that.

hey sauron i forgot to tell you if it was ok if i used your ISD model to try and recreat the Xyston Class star destroyer by adding the superlaser to it

Very nice ship. Still it can easily be mod upgraded. I shielded, put true engines reworked lights, reworked command console, added industrial mining and refining, sealed the interior so its all airtight.

Also repainted to my taste. Turned it into heavy armor increasing mass to 100.500 tons still able to atmospheric flight.

Finally, a captial ship to rival my dreadnaught Terminus. This will make for an interesting fight, one that I hope my PC will be up to.

Those text panels as lights are the most briliant things I've never imagined.
