Stellaris is the one game asexuality and non-binary polymorphic sexualities could have been inserted, even if just for flavor or for some kind of "breeding" trait. It's weird you can't have a species like Asari, or have an AI empire of human Amazons killin people with Snu snu, or have transhumanist Earth which has abolished gender by default. I think this was a missed opportunity for the devs to actually improve a game for once by including gender politics. It's weird I can enslave and genocide entire race, but can't prevent a woman from inheriting my empire. This mod really helps my purposes of adding more flavor to the Commonwealth of MAN by also making it super sexist. Unfortunately though, I can't have a competing Womyn's Commune empire which precludes all men from leadership run by the AI at the same time :(

@ Wayne I agree to an extent. I have a race of Dark Elf-like people and my running headcanon is that the females of the species are smarter and less emotional than the men, who tend to be very emotional and strong. Because of this their society is a matriarchy where the women manipulate and rule over the men because, lets be honest, the men just aren't capable of doing anything besides fighting and f***ing!

When you are dealing with non-human, sapient species, gender roles may well be reversed by neccessity. It all depends on what the differences between the genders are. Human genders are set up a certain way biologically, thus the gender roles that naturally emerge are different from a species that evolved in a different environment under different circumstances.

I tell ya some people are simply bizzare. A unisex military or leadership has almost no correlation to sexuality it has to do with gender roles. Perhaps females in your sci-fi world are the stronger more intellectually gifted of the species. Nothing wrong with that. Fiction lets us live out, to some degree, a reality we'd like to experience. Nothing wrong with that.

That said with the mod we can finally play a species with strong sexual dimorphisme!

Then the game should allow black trans disabled lesbian midgets to be generals. Hint: the fact that you can have different empires who's ideology is to purge entire species, it makes sense that there would be certain empires who enforce gender roles, especailly when it comes to military roles.

Cool, It always bothered me how casually female leaders become generals and admirals. That just doesn't happen in real life. You could make this mod more immersive by making xenophile/xenophobe demand/forbid female leaders (not egalitarian/authoritarian because it's a matter of natural, not class differences).
