Definitely not working for me. Installed, did destroywilddinos, found some tek stuff, still just gave meat and hide.

Is it possible to edit what and how much of an item can be harvested?

Harvested many Tek dinos and just got meat and hide (btw I instaled it ) (sorry of bad englishes)

Any chance you can make them drop any Element Dust? I'd really like to see this as a way to get Element dust. Like at the same rate or slightly less as Black Pearls.

When was this last updated and has the (any map except extinction) issue been resolved? i use far moremods than anyone should use and it takes me 1 hour to load ark each time to play. I do not want to bother if its going to result in a crash 57 minutes in. yes i need all my mods. single player awesomeness.

I recently got the mod working on The Island, but it doesn't always drop metal/electronics/ext. Sometimes it is still meat and hide even after a dino wipe.

It only works on extinction :(

I feel it is worth mentioning that I am playing single player on the Island.

Extinction works just fine like you said.

@Boomchips, what map are you trying to play on?

I've discovered that it loves to crash on loading any map that's not Extinction.

I'd like to mention that I don't have any other mods installed.

Perhaps a mod is preventing my mod from doing something, by doing that thing first, which could be the cause of the crashes.

Captain Kravos Reeves, I had this mod low on my mod list and experienced no crashes, the mod didn't appear to work so I moved it to the top, THEN my game started crashing. I moved it back down the list, and have not crashed since. (Yes, the mod is working for me). Hopefully this info is helpful.

2 additional ideas on that topic. Make all Tek-Variations immune to radiation (normally radiation should not bother any tech) and change them so that they can only be tamed with Element or Element Shard or Element Dust depending on the creature and also only eat that. So that's more difficult to get them and keep them. Maybe breeding should also be disabled on them to avoid material farming by Breeding and Killing or changed like with Enforcer.

I'm aware of the crashing on startup issues as I'm also affected on any map that's not Extinction. It doesn't seem to affect everyone though, as I've spoken to a few people who are playing on other maps just fine.
I'm investigating this issue as well as the issue in regards to vanilla tek variants still spawning.

If I add in element of any form, It'll come with the coming ini config settings, so people can choose whether or not to have it. Which should be the next update.

any chance of adding element to the mix, but only super rare so that the effort put in would only be slightly worth it compared to farming bosses?

For those having issues with the spawning of my tek dino's,
What other mods do you have installed and what is your load order look like?

Remapping dino's is unfortunately a first come first serve ordeal. If you have a mod that loads before mine that replaces some of the Tek Dino's, then my mod can only touch the ones that aren't modified by another mod.

Phew, gone for a day or so and bam. My comments blow up. I'm looking into the issues you guys have reported about some of the tek dino's not spawning as mine. Thanks for the feedback guys!

Trying out the mod. I have S+ installed and took a look at the spawns with the dino scan on the transmitter. About half the tek Parasaurs and Stegos are coming in as the "harvestable" variety after the dino wipe. None of the other Tek animals are changing over to harvestable.

thats dumb, if you actually payed attention to the models, you would know that they arent all electronics and tek. its tek modifications that the humans that were on the earth (presumably.) added to the creatures, not sure if they're aliens or artificial life, but still. they have meat and hide on the bottoms of the models.

This isn't working on a friends private server, is it because we tamed some tek dinos? She did wipe the wild dinos.

so it worked right after i installed it on my server but now its kinda random, so they still drop meat and hide but some metal, polymer, oil, etc

you can only craft tek at level 100 i am pretty sure unless you get tek ingrams with the mod ???

im not getting any drops other then normal loot either im on sp ,is there a ini I can configure to change some of the rates?

This mod doesn't seem to be working on my private server. Tek mobs drop normal items. Any ideas what might be the cause?
