sorry if im mistaken but their profile seemed sketchy and my game auto crashes when i used it. although it did let me discover your mod which works like a treat
I have this scenario: 1. I have a shared slot 1 for item A and B 2. Item A is equipped, item B rests in 1 3. I equip item C from some other slot 4. Item A lands on any free slot 5. I hit '1' on keyboard and item B is now equipped. 6. Item A shall automatically go back to own shared slot 1 but this is not happening - is it a limitation or a bug? I would like to hit '1' again to equip A.
I'm wondering if its worth it to add a key to clear all saved Slot Icons. Sometimes I find my self having to click multiple stacked slot icons to clear them. If theres a key that clears all slot icon and immediately save the icon with whatever item is currently in that slot, it would be even better. Thanks!

If you use the Disable Save Slots Toggle + Save Slots Initial State (set to off) in config you can simply enable save slot behavior once, save cane or orange staff, then disable save slots and only those items will be saved (and restored). That should work.
Or put that as an option in the configuration? I think that would be the best.

More specifically: walking cane + shadow reaper both saved to the same slot, and I use the shadow reaper until it breaks.
The work-around that I found was to use auto unequip at 1% option to unequip hand slot items, though that's a bit of a pain for everything else.
If this mod is dead then please tell me, I would like to play with it myself.

Btw, can't you save the state locally? Up until now I use the Inventory Organizer mod, and that saves positions whenever I hit the key I set for that, but that only rearranges everything upon keystroke after it's been messed up, it doesn't place things correctly upon pickup and doesn't keep slots empty.
It would be great if I didn't have to remind the game (on loading, caves or entire game) where I want the stuff I have currently equipped when I unequip it or equip something else.

The most fatal part of this bug is that there is no error code when it crashes,when the reserve saved slots option is set to "if free slots" or "always",Equip krampus backpack to pick up things, and the game will crash but there are no error codes
Sorry to hear about that crash. It will be quite hard for me to debug this as I don't have DST installed and have not looked at this mod's code in 2 years :) Do you have more details on the crash? I believe it includes a line number in the source code for example, that would help a lot. Should be written to client_log.txt as well (or whatever the log file is called). If you can include that here I can perhaps have a look but I really cannot promise this can be fixed. I'll try though!
