In the base game there's no wind at the city of World's End, which means no electricity if you decide to make your home there. The mod enables the wind for the region.

Unless Kenshi has some drastic changes which is very unlikely at this point, this mod should always work.

Hello Faust,

I recently restarted a bugfixing patch compilation for Kenshi, and I was wondering if I may add this mod, or parts of this mod to that compilation? All credit would go towards you for fixing this issue originally.

Still works in 2021. I consider this an important bugfix; World's End having no power is pure dev oversight. I'm going to suggest to the person who uploaded the Unofficial Kenshi Patch to implement this into his mod.

This is so nice. I am currently in World's End and noticed the power outage. I thought about making a mod to drop a few wind turbines down, but this one is so much easier and better. Thank you.

Yep I think it is a developer oversight that World's End is lacking in power.

Every savegame I have, the harpoon turrets on their walls are functionally useless because of their power problems, and I hate having to deck a house out with small wind generator just to power the city.

Thank's for this. It was a nasty surprise to set up my research facility only to find out that the city on one of the highest elevations in the game had no wind. :p

Thanks, settled in world's end today only to find out there are power issues. -_- like really you guys are in the mountains, you can't wire up some windmills at the tops of the mountains and boulders you're close to for power? Jeez.

Ah looks like a modern day picture of a region in China with their windmills they are building to try to reduce CO2 emissions.
