I can't get this to work. Why isn't it working? What am I missing? no matter what I do I can't get True Start Locations. Help?

I doubt any updates will be made, but it would be nice if the Suez was possible to canal. It currently is 2 tiles wide, it really ought to be 1 tile at the narrowest part, perhaps with a city-state on it. Like Panama City.

I was able to launch the map with the advice from Imerator Delta. The problem is, that when I choose marathon speed, than the game loads in normal speed anyway, which is just so frustrating. Des anybody know hot to avoid this?

To get the map pack into your game you need to put the mod into the civ5 maps folder.

Go to Documents -> My Games -> Civ5

Find map pack in mod folder, move it to the maps folder.

Yeah yeah. Russia is greant and all. Lots of strategic resources, a pretty-looking rendition of Catherine the great, Sexy language.... Also, Cossacks are potentialy a powerhouse of military Mop-up if you're going for domination. But I am rather diverse in my choice of civs. Different trategies for different Civs, guys. That's the fun of Civ and always has been. Don't run this map if you love Russia so much. Problem solved.

Guys you really don't need Russia to play civ. OK they may be your number one choice but guy. Choose something new!

Why is everyone mad at this mod for not having Russia? Get off your cyka blyat and realise that theres more interesting countries out there. Russia is just in the middle of nowhere and theres not many civs close to them which would make them really OP.

I have Brave New world and recently loaded this mod but was having problems with the true start locations. I chose Arabia and started in Spain while the Zulu in Europe, and Sweden in South Africa. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this problem of if it's in conflict with another mod.

Starting Loctaions are not acurate. Spain was where Egypt was supposed to be, Egypt was in Iran, Anyone know how to fix this?

I've done this:
documents\my games\sid meier's civilization 5\mods\big earth tsl\ and copy the .civ5map to documents\my games\sid meier's civilization 5\maps to load the map
and I still cannot load this map (Big Earth TSL + BNW) It begs the question, has the map been configured correctly or have Steam/Civ V got issues with mods and where they are meant to be located?
