Yes, it does work. If you're talking about it rising slowly, it should be fine.

Does this work anymore?

i dident even know jet engines can explode
Mitch-Mash 16. apr. 2019 kl. 4:42
a full throttle jet w/o an exhaust duct has an exhaust pressure of bout 80k psi

theory confirmed
Mitch-Mash 16. apr. 2019 kl. 4:37
i think i may have a theory, there might be a limit to how much pressure a jet outlet can output, about 4000 psi or something like that
Mitch-Mash 16. apr. 2019 kl. 3:55
yes

Do you have a compressor? Its necessary now.
Mitch-Mash 15. apr. 2019 kl. 3:47
For some reason, my jets can only run at 10 rps with the throttle maxed, even though the limit is set to 100, I've tried everything i know to make it run faster, but nothing works, halp

Seems like it is no longer necessary to artificially slow down the engine. However it is also no longer possible to start it without a compressor.

Means theres no reason to put an electric engine on the turbine anymore.

i think you can slow the engine with a velocity pivot that has weight on it
kutyax 14. dec. 2018 kl. 16:48
im testing it now, but it seems like more pros than cons.
Tajin  [ophavsmand] 14. dec. 2018 kl. 16:35
downside is that this way of slowing down the turbine requires electricity
kutyax 14. dec. 2018 kl. 16:28
perfect, as usual.i used to use speed restriction and generators to fatigue somehow the turbine, but that is a pain.now we have a perfect way to regulate jet engines without compressor.
thanks!!!
