For those who had the blueprint bug, just do this:
Save your game, close it, reopen it and in the launcher disable the torso mod (no need to delete it). Now just save your changes and start. In the main menu import your save. ATTENTION: YOU MUST DISABLE THE IMPORT OF BLUEPRINTS. After that, just load it and have fun. :)

I started with a second character that i kicked from the party. Then I realized I cannot make a campfire, wtf? Imma just remove this mod and port my torso save to vanilla.

i can't make the starting research bench, or a campfire for my squad. fix this

Para quem teve o problema bom as blueprints bugadas e só fazer isso:
Salvar seu jogo, fechar ele, abra novamente no inicializador desative o mod (Não precisa excluir). Agora e só salvar as mudanças e iniciar. Nos menus basta clickar na opção de importar o save ATENÇÂO: VOCÊ TEM QUE DESATIVAR A IMPORT DAS BLUEPRINTS, depois disso é só carregar ele e seu save e se divertir. :)

The issue with missing blueprints is still present; unfortunately, the workaround @garylindsay68 mentioned didn't work for me.

to anyone who has been caught with the tech issue heres a workaround save game>quit to desktop>relaunch disable torso mode mod> import save game XD

There is a bug. When you start with this mod you lost your camping and workbench blueprints. I played hours and now i haveto delete my save games because of this mod.

Mod was a lot of fun, got a good 20 hours in when i realized theres no starter building recipes such as shack and research table, so putting this one away for a while, tons of fun tho

can I start out as a thrall torso?

not being able to start a campfire to cook meat or use the sleeping bag to build a camp bed on my adventures got me utterly pissed. i just read now that i could actually disable the torso mode and import the last save and get the access to all techs... will try this later on but i am so annoyed at all the time i spent struggling without any access to any tech, campfires and camp beds was the worst not having

This mod needs to be updated to give basic techs. No research bench basically means no point in playing this mod.

How can i get my techs back?

Hey so, the mod "works" you just need to start the game. Save the game. Turn torso start off, and then import the save minus tech and you should be good to go.

BasJack said it right. This start is completely broken because it deletes your basic "everybody should know this" building technology.

If you give any starting research, you have to manually add the default research or it won't give them. Everyone that starts with torso can't construct a research bench.

After disabling the mod, be sure to make the game improt (do not save technologies), otherwise you may lose some types of generated recruits, such as skeletons.

This mod disables ANY tech advancement PLEASE be aware and IMPORT THE SAVE FILE as stated below . Don't end up playing for hours trying to figure out why you can't build a campfire like I did . lmfao

If you want to fix the Tech/building issues, the solution recomended (thanks to Bingus) is to save and import the game after you start but unselect "import tech". Obviusly this isnt the perfect solution if you some how had started reasurching, but for everyone else is should be fine.
