To be more specific about my earlier comment, it seems that the first map I play has the blood-splatter on the screen be normal as it should. However, after that, until a game restart, it does the bug you see in the second screenshot

Ah okay, yeah I usually mod the blood textures first then I do the blood particles so that would make a lot of sense why there would be a conflict. Well I'm glad that it's working for you now! :)

i figured it out shortly after the first comment, apparently you have to subscribe to particle mods before other mods otherwise all of the particles won't load and will be broken unless you unsubscribe from EVERYthing. it's weird but it's not really your problem

Hmmm looks interesting, I might just stick with the original files and the Blood Overhaul's since I have all the PSD's with my settings already on them. When I edit files it does lose a lot of the original colors since I just "paint" over them plus it seems like Source may have some issues displaying 4K textures. But if I change my mind I'll reach out to Ellie and ask for permission. :)
