I've been making palettes for all my favourite skin mods and thought I'd share.

There's a red & purple cloth alt, and a red green suit alt. I made hair consistent between combat sprites, cleaned up sword detail and walk/idle sprite alignments. Also changed the fx so the shadow for battle heal and inspiring cry better fits the alt shape.

@August Bebel Feel free to add these skins to your mod. I don't need credit, just happy to put it out there. Let me know if you want me to remove this.

Feel free to use these everyone. Download and place the skins (and fx folder) in:
Steam > steamapps > content > 262060 > 1588013919 > heroes > crusader (I used slots K to O, so if you have other skins using those slots, just rename these to unused letters). Make sure to delete "modfiles" from 1588013919 or else the skins won't be recognised.

Found out that the warden class has the skin saved, just need to put the textures into a crusader skin file

Yeah seems like all of the original creators skins are just gone. Kind of a shame because they were really well done. One of the few gender swaps skin lines that looked fitting in game. The Jester being my favourite.

Does this include the outdated mod skin with it? Seems to have been lost in time. Also does it work with other crusader skins?

@Lotus2g I couldn't find how to do it. If you make her head sprite bigger, it doesn't work for some reason

is there a way to make her have the helmet opened all the time?

I have just re-uploaded the mod and checked — it's all working well. See if you have [OUTDATED] version enabled in the mod menu.

Still doesn't work I activated it, top of the load order and all that but it just makes the crusader look like a water damaged oil painting.

Updated the mod. Make sure to activate it via blue hammer button next to your save file in the game.

That mod shouldn't interact with anything, it's a simple skin. if you are having a trouble, try to follow the guide below in the comments, just copy the skin in the game's folder manually.

Cant seem to get this skin to work with Crusader Only mod. Help?

It should be accessable just as any other skin, among the existing crusader ones. You could try to copy the folder manually, it should work this way. Look for Steam/steamapps/workshop and folders in there. Or use search for keyword «crusader». After you locate the right folder, copy crusader_L in the Darkest Dungeon folder, it's Darkest Dungeon/heroes/crusader.

The skin's not showing up for me. I have it enabled by itself and towards the top of the load order even. Do I have to wait for a new crusader to come or should it already be usable with an existing one in my roster?

No, it's standalone skin, it will not bug out. You can use one or both, they do not affect or interact with each other.

Will this bug out if I use the actual re-upload with this or does this simply provide minor changes to the actual mod?
