I just wish they didn't label my victories as Pyrrhic. I'm not Greek, all of my victories are decisive! Lol but seriously, thanks, this is needed.

Found this mod invaluable for Bretonnia playthroughs, thanks a lot! FYI: Even though it works fine, I think it still needs updating/reworking for vanilla changes, as at least one new XP-giving ritual seems to have been added (at casual glance, this mod's script file misses Ritual of Eldrazor).

Yeah its updated. I suspect it works without remaking it everytime, but not enough that I try it

Thanks for this! I don't think it creates a 'balance' problem at all. You are farming XP in auto resolve by mid game anyway, and it makes little sense to me for a battle to give less XP because I lost some zombies. The reinforcement thing is also a nice touch. Makes levelling your bretonnians less of a hassle. If you're concerned about balancing - check out never obsolete AI lords and improved ai skill selection. That will balance you right into the ground.

One question - are heroic victories still better than others or also normalized?

since the new update everyone gains 0 exp from sitting in base or winning/losing battles. this is the only thing loaded

Ah yeah realise I may have been careless with my words there - I made it not a problem by making them all worth the same xp, since thats the only thing victory type changes as far as I'm aware (OK bretonia gain more chivalry, but it hardly matters). I'll edit the description.

Also something that anoys me is how fighting epic mondo battles that last fifty minuytes gives you so much as xp as if you just curb stomped 20 guys.

This is good reasoning, but I think it upsets the balance gameplay wise, because the bonus XP is a way to reward winning...Granted there are TONNES of problems with how that's implimented.

I'd recommend considering a way to offset this, like more loot for wining or something.

While that is true, the battle against a chaos doomstack you win by the skin of your teeth is worth half as much xp as when you kill a default garrison with a single high level wizard

I get the concept but Pyrrhic victories doesn't mean that it wasn't a good battle to be proud of, just that you won but took a lot of losses.
